Simple and sweet
The Avatars Of Vishnu is part of Amma Tell Me About series. These are the picture books written and illustrated to acquaint children with Indian mythology. This one talks about various avatars of vishnu and how they contributed towards betterment of humankind through ages. Language of the book is very easy to read so that kids could easily understand the story. Narration might be simple and short but the gist is covered. Pictures are very colorful and go well with written material. Contrasting colors such as green and yellow match the theme and are soothing to eyes. Book has high quality glossy pages. Overall it is sweet simple book and gives information in the story format to raise the interest of children!

Very interesting book for toddlers
Amma, Tell Me About The Avatars of Vishnu! Part 1 by Bhakti Mathur is a very interesting book for kids as well as adults. I have started reading this book as a bedtime story to my toddler and she is loving it. In today's fast paced world where even kids rely heavily on technology and gadgets, I as a parent want my kid to learn about the mythology and cultures of our country. This book very beautifully explains about all the Avatars of Vishnu and captures my toddler's attention. The book has lovely illustrations which make it appealing to the kids. A must buy book if you want to teach your kids the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

Beautiful illustrations.
This is the first book in the series. It narrates the story of the first Avatar or incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the Matsya ie the fish Avatar. The story is written in easy language so that the young impressionable minds can easily grasp the complex story and it's meaning. I especially loved the illustrations. If you wish to introduce Hindu mythology to your child, this book will be perfect as the story is nicely elaborated for the child's understanding.

Children mythology
Amma, Tell Me About The Avatars of Vishnu! Part 1 by Bhakti Mathur is a necessary book for children in the days of websites and internet addiction. As the title suggests the book is about the Avatars of Vishnu and the author expressed it precisely with good illustration. I would recommend this book for kids due to its vivid colours and proper illustration which will make the book appealing to the kids. Kids will learn about the age-old concepts of Avatar and that will grow the thirst of knowledge inside them. Indian mythology is now a topic that is rarely cultured by kids with the advancement of technology and other fictional tales. But this book will surely fill up the void and make them love it more and more This book will help kids to build a bond with their parents through reading and asking questions to their adults about all the related facts which are, being from the old generation they would know about. Last but not least not just gaining knowledge but also this book will be a way of having fun activity with your children by giving him or her the time she/he needs. Highly recommended for sure.
