One thing the buyer should bear in mind that, i ordered brush no: 12 by looking at pics, but it looks as if it is no: 8. so don't follow the picture posted by desertcart, just got to the Raphael/Sennelier website and check for the brush diameter and pick the one which suits your needs. The first time I brought this brush, paint on the handle was chipped, ferrule was bent and flattened out. I requested a replacement, which came fairly quick and nicely packaged, but i wasted LOT of my time on just that. Now, the brush is the most amazing brush I have used. It holds a decent amount of water and comes to a nice, fine point. It does not dispense all the water all at once, and so a brushstroke goes a long way.
