The stand comes in three wooden parts. The base, the length module (stick), and the handle. It's a simple setup. You plug the stick into the base and twist. You plug the handle into the stick and twist. Done. Two main gripes: a. stability - the stand is not very reassuring. The base has three rubber pads at the bottom and doesn't sit evenly on the desk. b. connection - the plug & twist is not sturdy. The handle keeps coming out. Same with the stick and the base. The stick stands at an angle to the base and is not straight. I had to glue the components together, which is a jugaad, fine, but I shouldn't need to do that. I didn't want to return the not-so-expensive item to prevent environmental damage - the courier guy burning the fuel to pick it up, the truck then delivering it back to the warehouse/seller, and the computing power needed for Amazon to sell it again. I decided to keep it and will keep it with my jugaads to make this last.

Love the stand, serves it's purpose well and since it's wooden it'll last long too. The only reason I reduced one star is because when assembling one of the two joints was a bit loose so I had to put a small chit of paper to make it more stable.

Product finish is not good at all. The product is very shaky. Do not go for this one. Better get a metal holder
