The way I living room is set up and unable to put a coffee table or side table close enough to the couch without blocking walking room. Can’t count how many times I have knocked over my drink on the ground because I didn’t have anywhere else to put it. Wish I would’ve found this years ago! It’s definitely a lifesaver and fits all of my cups and mugs! Has a removable plastic center so you can fit larger cups. Completely sturdy and fits my very wide couch! I got the black and it looks great against my gray couches!

We have a huge arm on our sectional couch with doesn't allow us to clip on any trays. These seemed like the perfect fit for our drinks and we have been so happy with them since we got them. I can put my water glasses in, coffee mugs, cans, etc. They are very sturdy and the only time we've had an issue is when my cat decides to be a jerk and jumps right on the couch arm next to a full glass of water. (I'm not sure there's anything that could prevent spills in that case, minus adding a lid to all my glassware.) We even lay the couch coaster on the extra seats of the couch to have drinks next to us on the sectional. Again, no spillage at all, unless the cat is trying her hardest to not let us have nice things. I did notice that cat hair sticks to the outside, but it's fairly easy to brush off the dirt. I'm 100% happy with the purchase, even if my cat isn't!

This nifty little armchair coaster was a great purchase overall but the main drawback is that it gets dusty and dirty looking quickly. Now, to be fair, it is winter in MN and we have 3 animals that shed, so between the closed up house, super dry air, and animal hair anything that collects dust or hair doesn't stand a chance.That said, this thing is ultra sturdy and secure on our faux leather chair and couch. Both of them have oversized arms and these work perfectly. When the plastic insert is in it holds a can of pop or a regular sized glass great, and when it is out it holds a coffee cap with a standard sized base perfectly with no tipping or slipping as well as a stemmed wineglass (but I would not recommend leaving it as it could tip) and a non-stemmed wine glass (the fat base sort of props in the holder and it is secure).The plastic insert is a bit tough to get out, you have to pull hard and wiggle it a lot, but it does come out (my husband didn't think it did at first until I read some of the question and answer section). Overall this was a great purchase and I am thinking of getting another for the other chair with no table nearby.4 stars because of how easily it collects dust although a wet washcloth does take care of that. Added some pictures to help you see a few different options and the dust (sorry for the dirty wineglass just grabbed it from the counter before it was washed).

I am not a conventional sitter. I slouch on couches, sit on the floor, work on costume and prop projects twisted into yoga-like positions in the workshop. I needed a cup holder that could sit anywhere and on uneven surfaces (like piles of paper, rickity boxes, the edge of a workbench, etc.). The CouchCoaster comes through like a pro: the rubbery "arms" lay on or flow over all manner of obstacle, and my soda can nests snugly inside the holder. They should show more pictures of this holder on things like rocks or cluttered desks because it's great for that!

Pretty darn sturdy. I have a power recliner without cup holders so these have been very helpful. They also stay in place when the couch moves. There are only a couple of things that annoy me. One is the rubber material collects dust and tiny hairs and that’s hard to remove. The other is the hard plastic cup part of the cup holder is removal but difficult to remove and impossible to remove one handed, if for instance you want to put a large mug or Ball jar glass in the cup holder. The cup holder itself fits water bottles and some smaller in width cups.

The most useful Amazon product yet. I had been using a coaster with the occasional spill. Not any more.

These couch cup holders are absolutely awesome! They grip well to the couch and will fit over both couch arms and the side of our sectional. They are a bit tiresome to clean, but we love that they have removable round inserts so they fit a variety of cup sizes and even mugs with handles!
