They are nicely designed and appear to be well constructed. The broad shoulder area helps prevent mashing and disfiguring the shoulder area of a jacket. The hanger bar for trousers has ridges that run the length of the bar in order to prevent items placed on the bar from both sliding around and sliding off the hanger. The wood itself and the finish of the wood are good. I consider these hangers to be a good value for their cost. I plan to buy more.One later addition: I just noticed that the price of these hangers has jumped $3 since I bought the 5-pack of them a couple of weeks ago. There are several other brands of this same kind of hanger for sale on Amazon.com. Really wanted large plastic suit hangars but they are impossible to find. These look nice and the finish is very smooth so they will not snag your clothing. The hanging rod has grippers on them to keep your slacks from sliding off. Hooks are a little small but should work fine on most clothing rods.
