This book is an absolute must read for anyone who is trying to buy a home or want to partcipate in the real estate market in any capacity. So beautifully structured, comprehensive and too the point. Dedicated sections for home buyers, developers If you are confused as to which property to buy, this is the only book you need for all your answers. Covers everything from housing policies, taxes, current market trends, how to evaluate any property, NRI buying and so much more The author is an experienced real estate veteran and has poured out all his experience in the best possible way in this book. Moreover, he has also built comic episode likd learning material on his website I am a total fan of this book now! Highly highly recommended 😇😇

This is really a wonderful book, whose goal is to give complete information to a home buyer about a good home and what is the definition of a good home. There is a lot to learn in this book which will be a guide for a sales person and also for the customer. Dont worry about its quality because paper material and text are easy to read both are in good quality.

This is a very detailed book on all the small details about buying or investing in real estate. I never knew those details. While enquiring about a property when I asked few questions from the sales person of a developer, he had no answers and later they told that they cannot give all my answers and I should just trust them because they are so big developer. I dropped the idea to invest in them. Really it's good to know details. I might have been stuck if I would didn't knew the details.

It seems like an essay written by class 11 student. No information to guide home buyer, everything written in generic form. Same things are repeated to annoy you while reading. Don't waste time and money if you expect any crucial information or guidance as a common home buyer.

To begin with, this is the most poorly edited books I have come across. The Editor’s note itself is poorly written. I’m not sure if the Editor or the Author even read the book before it got published. The books throws figures and data at you throughout, such as, 90% of Indian residents live in affordable housing, or, the rental yield in India is 2.2%. There are no references in the book to back these up. The author could be making up this data, or pulling the figures from WhatsApp. Lack of credibility makes these figures absolutely worthless. References are given only in the first few pages. Moreover, the content itself is lacking. It barely touches the surface and I got to learn nothing new. I was disappointed to see this as the best selling book on the subject. At ₹500, I feel absolutely robbed looking at the printing quality of the book. However, the lack of content on this subject makes it difficult for people to look elsewhere. The content is broad enough to cover everyone. I woud suggest this book only to those who don’t know much about Indian real estate and the free market.

Repititive content in the chapters, only theory and no practical implications. Not a worth reading.
