Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 2TB Low-Power Consumption SSD

I was a bit skeptical having read some of the reviews. The price was certainly good. I have a five year old laptop where the NVMe drive was generating errors and going out. When the SSD arrived I attempted a clone operation from the old laptop drive but it was so full of errors the clone failed. (Not the fault of the new drive.) I decided to just replace the bad drive with this new one and load Windows11 from scratch. The operation went smoothly and soon I was up an running on the new drive. No more errors! It took most of the day to load the Microsoft Window updates and get my software loaded up again. The drive works great! I would purchase again if I had the need. I can't speak to longevity but parts is parts so who knows.Update May 25; The Windows 11 event viewer reports NO drive errors. (The old bad drive was kicking out multiple drive errors.) The speed is very good and the laptop is running great. The laptop is being used everyday.Update July 1; Came home and found the laptop was showing a HD failure. The drive failed and can't be recovered. Now I'm past the return date with Amazon and my data is lost. DON'T buy this drive as you get what you pay for!

The Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 256GB Low-Power Consumption SSD turned out to be better than I expected. I used it to convert a Dell laptop to Linux while saving my Windows configuration on the original drive. The processor does not meet Windows 11 requirements and is too nice a laptop to discard. This drive runs much cooler than the original and seems to be just as fast.

This was used to speed up an older Dell I3 laptop. The increase was amazing, and installation was quick and easy. DiskGenius software (free) was used to migrate the operating system from the original hard drive, and everything worked first try. This saved me from needing to buy and new laptop. Well worth the money!

I have never had a Patriot product failThis drive hasn't lasted a month.I don't think I can return this drive, I recycled the cardboard container.Just added some srarsI was able to fix the drive....... I would not tell what the problem was, I would not anyone doing the process and making the drive totally worthless and not returnable,

I got this as a low power NVMe SSD to use in my N100 based mini PC router with OPNSense. It works great. No issues.

i bought this to be the boot drive for an HTPC for my living room, and it has surpassed all my expectations. i'm not sure if it's because of the drive's small size, or the onboard nvme slot on the mb, but this 4th gen intel board boots in 5 seconds, compared to more than 30 for my 9th gen intel tower booting from a 512 gb m.2 stick.

It's an amazing product, it doesn't overheat and its price is pretty good. I mainly use it to play Xbox Game Pass PC

I bought it to put in an enclosure and use as a backup drive. It's really fast and works perfectly!
