Review: Warm white, not too bright - I normally replace any burnt-out bulbs on my car or truck with LEDs. They're brighter, draw less current, and don't get as hot. However, I bought these because for stuff like instrument panels, I wanted a warm white light that wasn't overly bright. These are perfect. They're about as bright as the incandescent bulbs they replace but they draw less current and, in theory at least, last a lot longer. Time will tell. I really like them for the instrument cluster of my motorcycle. I tried other super-bright LEDs in it and the neutral and turn-signal lights were BLINDING. They actually compromised my night vision when I rode after dark. Since the bike doesn't have a dimmer, I swapped the bulbs out to these. No more night blindness. So far I've only used these in a couple of applications so we'll see how they hold up. The electrical contacts at the base of the bulb are very thin wires that can get out of position when you install it, so be careful. These will replace a few different types of wedge-base bulbs. The most common are probably 168 and 194 bulbs, but probably others as well. They may be too dim for something like corner marker lights but they are just about perfect for instrument panels, dome lights, etc.

**Q: will they work in dashboard for ford expedition 1999?**
A: I use them in the dashboard for my 1981 El Camino and also to replace a few other interior lights in my wife's minivan which is a 2012 I don't see why they wouldn't work

**Q: How can I get a string of sockets to accept these bulbs?**
A: Yes. If your sockets already use this type of bulb. I swear to GAWD people answer questions on amazon without having a clue.

**Q: Will these work in landscape lights?**
A: Short answer, no. They are NOT WATERPROOF. But, if your existing system is 12 volt and it uses ordinary automotive lights, and do so in a waterproof enclosure, then yes, they will work. They are as bright as ordinary dashboard lights or around as bright as a typical night light.

**Q: Will these fit a 2005 gmc canyon pickup truck?**
A: Just google the size of the bulb you need and see if it’s this one.
