This is a very good quality product and looks it, too. It is stainless steel so I look forward to no rusting like my last jar topper! It looks really good on my counter next to my sink and one pump is enough to lather up my scrub pad. The 'straw' is bigger in circumference so lets a decent amount of soap pump out. It was too long for my jar but was easy to shorten. I feel it is well worth the cost because of the quality and durability.

This pump has been in my guest bathroom for less than a month (and it has probably been used less than a dozen times). It looked really cute, until it rusted EVERYWHERE it has come into contact with the soap, so now it looks really gross and probably is a health risk as well. Since there is a one-month window to return this, it is clear that there is also no standing behind the product. Seriously disappointed; I was going to order another one because I thought it was exactly what I was looking for, but I was wrong!

I love this soap dispenser. I bought it to put on a pint size mason jar to put my dishwashing liquid in it. It works GREAT,and looks GREAT. It is so very easy to put together. The top pump is easy to pump. Just the right amount of liquid comes through the dispenser. If the tubing is too long for a smaller size jar, all you have to do is cut the tube to the size that fits the jar. If you are into arts and crafts, you can decorate a jar any way that suits your décor with bows, beads or whatever. I've gotten so many compliments on my soap dispenser. I don't know how I found this on Amazon, but I'm so glad I did !!!! I'll be back to purchase another one for my bathroom.UPDATE Nov. 27, 2016: I purchased two of these pumps. The first one was purchased in October 2016. The stainless steal on the bottom of the neck has completely spilt open. I'm sorry, but I would never purchase one of these again. I ordered the second one at a higher price only because this is a small business and I wanted to support them. I was so happy with this product when I first got it, but this is a piece of junk.

Have had a lot of trouble with single-variety pumps breaking after a few months. This is new, but appears much more stable and less likely to have the dispensing tube fall apart. It's very ergonomic. It's simple yet elegant, and when attached to ball jar, looks great, not contrived or fussy. I need to order a few more. Love it.March 2017 update: I dropped this dispenser from my bedside table to the floor below covered by a thick rug. The jar didn't break, but the dispenser top flew off. The two metal parts (pump and jar cover) separated (was it glued?) The plastic elbow that connects the pump to the tube somehow DID break. I hope I can get a replacement part, as the appeal of this unit was that it was intended to last.

Worked for about 6 months, then the top pieces broke. Not well put together

I purchased this over a year ago (10/2016) and use it to dispense regular blue Dawn dish soap in the Kitchen. It’s held up really well and there is t a single rust spot on it. I’ve had the worst luck with soap dispensers rusting and spouts crumbling so I am really impressed with this one. The oil can pump design is also really cute. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because like many others have mentioned... it leaks. Soap seems to ooze out of the pump, the spout, and the seal where the pump connects to the lid. I have to rinse it off after every use so that it doesn’t harden into gummy residue. The spout also pops out from time to time and I have to push it back in. It also dispenses very little soap per pump, about a pea sized squirt, which I’m okay with since I don’t need much more than that anyway. Despite all that, I’d still purchase it again. The whole thing really is stainless steel and it’s durable. It still looks good and after going through many soap dispensers this is by far the best one yet.

I had trouble with my lid rusting on the soap dispenser that came with the mason jar. In fact, to remove it I had to cut it off with tin snips. So I was looking for one that wouldn't rust. This one costs more, but it is definitely worth it. It is really will made and works easily. Best of all it looks GREAT! I have had numerous people comment on it and want to know where I got it.

Very nice pump design and quality with one handed operation. What I thought was rust forming on the lid I now believe was left over residue from my galvanized pipes. It easily wiped off and it has not reappeared though I still get residue on the pump / lid seam. Take it apart and clean it but that is a water problem. I'm ordering a second one.
