the ink will disappear after a while due to heat exposure. that is the reason it is erasable with friction. Friction also produces the heat needed to erase it. If it erases accidentally after some days without u doing anything to the paper, PUT UR SHEET IN THE REEZER FOR A WHILE (NORMALLY ABOUT 1 MINUTE). everything will come back to 100%clarity. cheers....... i use this for all my stuff

Teens and I can’t get enough of these. Vibrant colors and smooth writing. Easily and cleanly erases. Makes studying and organizing so much more vibrant and enticing. We love them!!!

9 Frixion erasable pens - 9 refills. I love these pens - use them for work all the time. Once I'm done with a file, I heat up the paper - the writing disappears and I can use it again - and again.

My favorite erasable pens that are dark blue almost blue black. Write well, big flow, and very reliable. I use them for marking books or writing in my travel notebook.

I refuse to complete crosswords in pencil but still want to retain the capability to correct any errors when they occur. I used to use "Paper Mate EraserMate" pens but they never seemed to fully erase and the erasable ink would skip and clump. I read about the Pilot FriXion Clicker Erasable Gel Pens on a crossword aficionado blog and decided to buy one to try it out. I fell instantly in love with these pens! I have now used these in my crossword completion endeavors for the past 5 years and have never found anything better for erasable ink quality or erasability. My personal favorites are the Green and Purple ink pens. The light Blue is always nice as well. The dark Blue is OK . I do not like the Pink (too light), Red (reminds me of teacher corrections) or Black inks (no contrast with the crossword puzzle). Personal preferences I guess. The only downside to these pens is that they seem to run out of ink more rapidly then traditional ink pens but refills are available for sale. The pens are a little pricey to buy singly at your local Walmart, so buy the box of 12 in whatever colors you prefer from Amazon. I have not been able to find them at Canadian office supply stores. This is the most economical way to purchase these and you won't be upset when your favorite pens run out of ink halfway through a puzzle...you'll have lots more!
