Great seat for the price! Will purchase again soon!!!
I read several reviews about the shape of the seat, etc? I have to laugh, these people haven't a clue as to what they are looking at, or require. Do research people and get educated beofre making silly reviews about product you know nothing about. Anyway, its a great shape! It's built well, but could use some more padding. I'm going to recover it anyway so I'll use a nicer foam. The one EXCELLENT feature to point out with this seat is the location of the sissybar mounting holes. All other new re-pop seats I researched locate said holes way too far forward. Old original seats had them much further back. This becomes an issue when they are too far forward because most new re-pop sissy bars dont have enough back bend angle in the top loop, so it will push against your lower back or butt. Not to mention they look hideous. This one has the holes fairly far back, almost like the old original seats. In addition I installed a Schwinn seat tag. Disclaimer IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY TAG, I INSTALLED ONE I HAD HERE. I will likely purchase again for another build I'm working on. Great seat!!!

Perfect for converting any bicycle into a banana bike
I converted my cheap 29'' Genesis mountain bike from Walmart into a banana-seat beach cruiser because I like the way it looks and the upright seating position.I bought the Beach Cruiser High Back Sissy Bar, 42in, Black which is working fine. Because I am tall, I had my local bike mechanic drill 2 new holes in the sissy bar about 2.5 inches above the existing holes for the seat. I am 6'2'' with very long legs, and I prefer my legs to fully extend when I pedal. The sissy bar is lightweight, but so far it's not bending (I weigh 180 lbs). The bars will start to flatten if you tighten the seat bolts or axle nuts too tightly, so just be careful not to over-tighten. Also, the black paint scratches if you scrape it on the sidewalk, so get a repair stand or get creative when working on the bike upside-down.My seat is the Sunlite Polo Saddle, Black which comes with the screws for mounting to the sissy bar, and it is pretty comfortable. My handlebars are the Wald 8069 Hi-Rise Chopper Bike Handlebar (24.5-Inches Wide, Chrome, 13-Inch Rise) which are the perfect height. I also used Origin8 Compe Lite Bar End, Long, Black bar ends to hold my shifters and front brake, because the brake/shift cables on my bike weren't long enough and I didn't want to replace them. The conversion was successful, it's more stylish and comfortable to ride, and it's a fun project to work on! I included before and after photos.

Great seat! Fits perfect! New look, and a more stable, faster ride!
I purchased this seat along with the 24" rail for my custom cruiser bike. It replaced a standard cruiser seat that has been on a supported layback post for the last couple years. This post has served me valiantly over that time, but ever time I hit a bump, I think that someday this post will give way under my nearly 200 pounds. With this seat, I was able to set it much lower. I was initially concerned about the geometry I had the bike set up with, thinking that the shorter seat may not set me back far enough to compensate for the lower stance... but I didn't realize the support I would get from the rail. The rail actually gives me something to torque against, where I used to rely on the lower set of handles on my two-foot apes to lean forward and get solid leverage from the bars. But now I don't need them... and although the geometry felt a little strange at first, I feel much better with it. I only make sure that the clamp is very tight on the seat post, because torquing against the seat rail pulls against the post, and that slipping out would have the same negative effect of a broken post.It goes without saying that this is much more stable than the previous layback post... which will now reside on my secondary bike. The down side is that I no longer have that thick-cushioned, shock-absorbing cruiser seat that I got used to. This is like going back to my days of lightweight racing seats with very little or no cushion. It has some... but not a lot in comparison. I still love how the bike rides now, and it's even faster with the unexpected benefit of the seat rail support.

Classic Product
This saddle is a classic design! Used on a 26/24 custom cruiser my son built. Mated perfectly with a Fenix 42" sissy bar! Came with the necessary hardware and looks great!

Read reviews it's not padded enough - I ride with bike shorts - thus - it's not a issue for me ...
The gist - Read reviews it's not padded enough - I ride with bike shorts - thus - it's not a issue for me & when I was a kid 50+ years ago - I don't EVER remember stopping at the side of the road & saying "gee - how I wish my bike seat had more padding" ...

Old school with a twist.
Awesome product indeed. I am using it to turn my custom built bike into a chopper, I am converting a 26 inch mountain bike into a motorized bicycle using an old school banana seat and ape hangers that are used on a 60's stingray ....
