These were delivered a while back and my toddlers have been all over them. Great quality and such vibrant colors. The blocks fit well together to make sturdy structures. Pieces are big enough for little hands. Can we also just speak about that storage bucket...huge and definitely a deciding factor when looking to purchase loose parts/toys. Let's face it, you can never have enough blocks...I wish I had ordered the bigger set...will be needing a lot more of these very soon. A very happy customer!

Such a good buy and value for your money!

When purchasing the Burgkidz Big Building Block bucket I was a little unsure if the quality of the blocks would be comparable to more name brand large blocks. I was pleasantly surprised when the blocks arrived. The plastic of the blocks seems to be a tiny bit less thick compared to other blocks of this size, but as my little one has played with the blocks they have held up nicely. This bucket of blocks has a great variety of sizes and includes some windows and wheels, which adds to the building fun and doesn't limit my little one's imagination. I was a little disappointed that this set didn't come with building square base, but item description stated that these blocks were compatible with Duplo blocks and it's true! The blocks worked great with a Dulpo building base. The size of these blocks work well for toddlers to grasp and easily build with. Overall this was a great purchase, one that has provided hours of building fun!

This review is for the burgkidz Big Building Block Set (Size: 214 pieces). I got this set because Lego Duplo, for whatever reason, does not sell a similar product. I'm generally satisfied with the durability and variety of pieces, and I absolutely love the storage bucket. However, the burgkidz blocks are not without flaws: compared to Lego Duplo, they noticeably interlock less consistently. At best, they can get to ~90% of Duplo, but there are certain combinations that barely work. In my case, the light green and yellow 2x2 slope blocks connect pretty well to each other, but the red ones are maybe half as strong. To get the most out of this set, I'd recommend a large base plate and maybe a small official set to get some minifigures and accessories. In a vacuum, this is a 4-star product. Unfortunately, my kid has access to Duplo in her classroom, and she discovered that these burgkidz blocks simply don't work as well. So, from that perspective, I'm dropping the star rating down to 3.
