Got fresh yeast but doubtful about performance
I got this yeast well packed and recently manufactured. I tried to activate using lukewarm water and sugar but not activated, no frothing observed. Doubtful about its performance and quality.

This is bakers yeast not wine yeast
Ordinary yeast being sold on the name of brewers yeast. Alchol formation is very very low. Not good for brewing.
