It paid for itself as soon as I re-sized my Bulova Icon.The materials probably aren't the best, but considering the price, number of tools, and extras, you can't go wrong. If you're worried about bending/breaking the tools, or the plastic devices, consider this: you don't want/need to apply Hulk level strength to repair your watch and potentially damage it.Overall, it's a decent kit, with tools provided by what looks like someone trying their luck at their own small business.

Nice little watch repair kit. Used it to replace a battery in one of my watches and then used it for taking some links out of a new watch i had bought. It's been a great value for the money so far!

I unfortunately found the pins not strong enough to remove links from my Casio watch without breaking. But all the cheap kits are this way. I suppose the way around this is to find individual tools that are made at high quality (expensive)Still, things in this kit look great and preform as well as any of the other cheap Amazon repair tool kits.

I'm not a watch person. I only own 2 watches. A 14 year old Casio G-Shock and now a Citizen Eco-Drive that has a titanium bracelet. I originally paid $15 to Kay Jewelers to size my watch after a local Jewelry shop told me they didn't have the tools to do a Citizen upon trying. I wasn't super happy with the Kay sizing and instead of going back decided to do what I wished I did in the first place, which was to buy my own cheap kit and I'm happy I did. It took me awhile to figure out how to setup the links on the citizen but eventually using this kit I was able to successfully size out my links and even move the micro adjustment in the latch to make it fit perfectly which Kay didn't even offer to do. I only learned about it after a coworker discussed watches and fitting them to me. I'm very happy I bought this kit, even if I don't end up using it again for a long long time.

Outstanding Performance very please with the product

While this $15 set is an improvement over Eventronic’s tiny $10 version, these are not tools that should be used with fine watches. Lots of tools and a decent case for $15. Workmanship is not up to snuff. Too much play in the wrench and not enough precision in the screwdriver bits.

Great bang for your buck. Lot of helpful tools in the kit. Perfect for most watches. I have watches from at least 6/7 manufacturers and this kit covers them all pretty well. Only thing I could have used is a smaller jewelers flat head screwdriver for the tiny screws in one of my Bulovas. But I don't hold it against the tool kit since some watch manufacturers clearly want you to bring your watch in to be serviced so they can get you for $100 or more for a battery replacement. Instead this covers the labor part and for less than $5 a battery your good to go. Good stuff! Highly recommend.

I really like the set, especially the zippered carry case. It keeps all the parts from getting lost or separated. The only problem I've had (and it may be user error) is getting the back off of a watch where the back is flat and I can't get anything to get under the edge to pop off the back of the watch. The other watches that I needed to change batteries, I didn't have any problems.The black holder, to hold the watch while you are taking on the back is very nice. It worked very well. So much better than holding in my hand as before. I haven't needed to take out links or replace a pin yet. Most of our watches do not have the links.
