I purchased the pasta bowls with the same pattern and they make me happy just looking at them! Good size, substantial weight to them. Sooo, next I had to get the matching bowls! Good size for soup, cereal, whatever! Perfect for summer but will brighten up your kitchen and spirits all year round! (There might be dinner plates in my future...)

Great for cereal and bananas for one
Hard to tell about capacity usually. I eat 3/4 c cereal plus a banana and milk each morning. It's usually half the bowl's capacity.Could serve cooked veggies for two or three people. Hope this helps. Too lazy to post a picture,
