really enjoyed overall but wish things flowed better
Hadley starts her senior year of high school at Pacific Prep and it is painfully obviously she does not fit in. Just a few moments after she gets there she find out that there are three groups of students. Those who are scholarship and lowest on the totem pole, the rest of the school and the princes of Pacific Prep. There is something that draws her to them but when one of them takes a disliking to them it makes her life at school difficult but she gives just as much as she gets back. There are minor spoilers after this point.I would have rated this book 5 stars, it is right up my alley but I really had a problem with the flow of the story and how the information got trickled in. And really no real information to the plot was given to the reader.1-One of the biggest bump in the flow of the book is when Brett is introduced. Well after the half way point and then we get chapters from his POV. He should have been mentioned a lot earlier and it wouldn’t have felt like an afterthought.2-The notebook. We were lead to believe that Hadley was just starting at school and was attracted to the princes from the first time she laid eyes on them but then the notebook. The first half was written to make it seem like she didn’t know anything and then bam.m, Hawk finds incriminating stuff randomly. I wish their were breadcrumbs that led to that discovery so it didn’t feel like it completely came out of left field.3-still know nothing about Hadley’s past. After book one we should know something. Even little tidbits, but nada.Besides those three things, I still really liked the story. The pranks were pretty funny especially when Hadley knew who 3/4 would blame and she was pranking all 4 of them.I will be jumping into book 2 immediately now to find out what the heck is going on in this story.

Holy cow
This was an intense first book! I loved the twists and turns and the heat was incredible. Hadley Parker is a scholarship student at pacific prep, she's come to start a new life, but she has secrets and trauma that make it difficult for her to let people in. Immediately she's drawn to the princes of the school and unfortunately for her it brings more trouble than it's worth. Hawk has decided he doesn't like or trust her and is on a mission to destroy her, but will his friends stand by and let that happen?

Wasnt sure if i was going to like it
So there's a lot going on in this book and I really really wasn't sure if I was gonna DNF it. Its not bad but some of the writing just kind of brings you out of caring about the characters.Spoilers: So I really do like the involvement of Beck and how he kind of came in towards the and towards the middle. He's also older & in a more authority role. You don't know how much you can trust him at this point though.Hawk being her brother is pretty interesting and a really interested to see who the person was that his groomed/ing Hadley/Elizabeth. I really like to Cam in the beginning of the book and I'm interested to see how he develops because he is fairly immature but this book is set in high school.Mason it's a person that you always want to have on your side and I'm really interested to see how his story develops. The same with West I think hes genuinely a personWho is watching over his friends but I'm interested to see what's up with him and Beck could they be brothers? If not then who is his dad?Hadley on the other hand is kind of annoying. She's extremely judgmental and multiple times in the book she made snarky comments based on the fact that other people have money and she feels like apparently money equals happiness when clearly she knows that's not the case but she constantly Throws that into everyone's face. Honestly I almost thought about DNFing the whole series of just did not deal with her. But I'm interested.

Okay then
I didn't intend to read this in one go, but holy hell, it was too good to put down.Hadley is strong, courageous, angry, and a raging b*tch. Hawk is the same, but with man parts. Cam is the friendly flirt. Mason is silent and broody. West is the nerd. But they are all so much more than that.Totally ready for the next book. Unfortunately, I have to adult and wake up for work in a couple of hours.

RH beginner must!
4.5/5⭐️2/5🌶RH/ Bully RomanceThis book is my first dip into RH.I thought I was ready for RH, or that it wouldn’t be centered around the younger high school generation - but alas I am wrong, and I have no words Broken Trust was a perfect start!I enjoyed the world R.A. Smyth created at Pacific Prep. I could really grasp the hs drama that unfolds between the girls within the school over these four popular: sexy men and with Hadley being truly uncaring for it all. Honestly we all knew that girl in high school who didn’t have time for the pettiness!!Obviously Hadley, has much bigger problems to worry about. And it’s down the rabbit hole we go….This book is excellent for beginner RH readers. The next few books I except to get spicier and spicier!

One of my favourites this year
Speechless. Totally mind blown. I wasn’t aware quite how much I was going to love these books and they are already looking to make my favourites of 2021! Book one has me begging for more. The writing is amazing and the storyline has me hooked.Hadley shows all of my favourite leading lady traits, she’s fierce and even though she doesn’t have the best history she is still a badass. The guys, well, I’m desperate to get more of a background on these guys’ friendships, I wanna know what made Hawk so angry, why West is so quiet but intriguing. I need more of playboy Cam and Mason? I feel more confused about his stony exterior but that caring side?!And that sneaky little addition that we get to know. Wow. I’m blatantly hinting at the plot twist and won’t tell any of you what it is because DAMN!! I wasnt readyyy!!Im totally invested in all of these characters already. This isn’t just another prep school, rich guy / scholarship girl series. We have so many things going on and it’s fantastic. If I was going to recommend an contemporary academy reverse harem to anyone, it’s this one.

The more I read the more I needed to know
Hadley starts at Pacific Prep as a scholarship pupil and is soon thrown into the harsh realities of a school where the class system still applies. Learning to navigate her way around without fiddling too many feathered she finds herself drawn to the enigmatic Princes . Unable to resist the lure she starts seeing Cam in secret only to have everything blow up in her face and finds herself losing the only friends she made. Until a twist throws everything up.into the air. There's also something else going on that leaves you wanting to know more as the book ends.Loved this, kept me drawn in from the start, the characters are real and the story moves along at a great pace. Need to know more and book two begins ..

Be prepared to not want to put the book down!
This book was more than I could imagine it would be. Which was already pretty high after reading the Crescentwood series which in itself was awesome. I sat and read this book in a couple of hours and could just not put it down.Hadley is a truly awesome FMC, a badass who is so different from the usual girls who hang around at Pacific Prep. There was so many twists and turns that were not expected that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.I absolutely cannot wait to read book 2 after the cliffhanger ending of book 1 I need it sooner rather than later as my mind is working over drive wondering what the hell is happening.Amazing book from R.A.Smyth once again, this series is going to be epic!!

Beautiful
I’m an unashamed fan of the academy trope, and Broken Trust doesn’t disappoint. Slow burn to start, the characters gain depth throughout and it’s hard not to become attached. Hadley keeps her cards close whilst being unafraid of taking what she wants; all traits that tie the reader to our unassuming heroine, with bombshells being dropped at key turning points to keep us on our toes and begging for more.Aside from following the expected arc, it’s worth sticking through the simmering start. I’m highly anticipating the follow-up and can’t help but pray we find out more about our antiheroes’ and heroine’s backstory and the circumstances that brought them together.

Hot hell
Well lol this book is the typical bunch guys who bully the new scholarship girl but the difference is the new girl fights back and is not easily intimidated by a group of Rich alphaholes.Hadley the main female character is a scholarship girl in a big preppy school filled with rich pretentious idiotsHawkCanWest andMason are the four prince's of the school who every girl loves them and the boys wanna be them.Until Hadley pops up on there radar and all bets are off, secrets are revealed and lives are forever changedNow onto book 2
