Carnilove Wild Origins Filles 12x85g

Merlin was diagnosed with FIP and lost over 20% of his body weight. We thought we’d lost him. He started treatment and we needed to get him eating again but he just wasn’t interested. We tried him on Carnilove wild origins and I’m thrilled to say after 3 weeks he’s almost back to his fighting weight and has never looked or felt healthier. Only issue is he turns his nose up at anything else now!

Quality is good but unfortunately cat doesn’t like it :(

First time I try this with my 2 cats. The consistency is juicy and they love it . Will order again ( and anyone with a cat will know that when you buy something they like today, and you buy in bulk they won’t touch it anymore- haha)

😔We had bought the Carnilove dry food at a garden centre near us in the Cairngorms and the cats LOVED it! So, when our male cat developed an autoimmune condition called FORLS, that attacks the teeth and he began having to have a few removed, he began to lose his ability to hunt as before so wet cat food became necessary to his “meat” cravings. As young cats we fed them “human grade” food (another excellent brand they loved but they became more interested in meat via hunting and “”snacked” on dry food.) When Flea began having trouble with hunting due to removed teeth, he lost weight. We looked for something to fill the gap as he no longer wanted the previous wet food. Unfortunately he seemed to only like supermarket brands that ultimately made him sick - the search continued. Then, we were told three more teeth had to be removed, due to issues with the vet; surgery kept being delayed, he lost more weight and circumstances made nutrition critical. Surgery was successful at end of year and free from pain and dying for meat we began to worr. We tried it all including the “fresh, arrives frozen, “real meat” cat food. Waste of money. A friend advised CARNILOVE had a wet food and I ordered immediately. The first box arrived but while my cat seemed to really like the pheasant, he never left a clean bowl and he rejected other flavors. I held off ordering again thinking our boy might not have been ready so soon after oral surgery to try a richer food and I’d try again later. I gave the other packets to my neighbor which her cats loved. After a few months of healing and with summer approaching I ordered again. This time was a beyond flat out rejection, I opened the packet and he went right outside. So far we’ve tried each flavor and all were rejected. My husband feels our cat was not interested because of the added herbs. He took notice of this one morning when Flea showed a particular aversion to the packet that has echinacea mixed in with the food. Our female never took interest in it except to examine it but in her defense, she has grown to prefer meat she hunts but she LOVES Carnilove dry food. While the dry food is and has always been a success with our cats the wet food disappoints. I feel bad for writing a negative review and certainly other cats love this; just not ours. We’re disappointed especially as our boy needs to put on weight lost and what he wants is to hunt. Apologies to Carnilove for the review because the treats and dry food have been very welcome ! I had great hopes for this wet food. So sorry

He is 18, lost weight, and even on chicken, not a great result. Now he's in this, he's gaining weight and happy!

My cat likes this. Seems on the better end of the scale for a food with gravy.

Our boy absolutely loved the Carnilove dry food so getting the wet food seemed like a natural step to take (especially as the other reviews described it as exceptionally saucy which he usually loves). Unfortunately turned his nose up at nearly all of the flavours and only had a tiny nibble of the duck one.
