My daughter loves when we break this out to make her son musubi. It’s easy for her to compact the rice and loves the shape of the food after.

Easy to use and clean.

Recently got back into making onigiri and was looking for a basic set of molds. These get the job done, albeit with a little effort. The finish on the plastic is a bit rough, and the “release button” was useful about half the time — with properly cooked rice and the proper amount. The small mold is great for kids or a bunch of lighter snacks, but the large mold isn’t really that much bigger. And the overall fit of the musubi mold was particularly spotty. Still, for the price, it’s fine.

The items arrived on time. It comes with a small rice spatula. I used it as soon as I could. The triangle shaped one's were nice. When you flip it over, it has a a push flap so the whole thing slides off easily.

Clean design, easy to use! I recommend :)

The molds do not have BPA free written anywhere on them, as you would expect on a BPA free item. The items just came wrapped in plastic, with a sticker that says made in china, nothing else at all to describe the product. Sending it back.

I started out making onigiri by hand, and it was a pain. I really couldn't get the hang of it without making a mess, so I ordered these molds. They are absolutely amazing! I was able to make one so fast, and without any mess. I had guests over so I made a couple, and it was so easy that I just showed everybody how to make their own. We all really enjoyed making them. It really made the whole experience fun for everybody, instead of just one person making them while everybody else ate. Another thing we all loved is the smaller mold.
