Great light if you're not fussy about weight
Very bright, long-lasting bike light. Heavier than most but you get extremely long battery life as a trade-off. I wish it had more blinking settings but what is there will keep you visible.

Lezyne 1300XXL Recgargeable Headlight
The Lezyne 1300XXL is a great bike light. It is well made and comes with a micro charging cable. The 1300 lumen setting offers great visibility for lonely roads or trails in absolute darkness, but 1300 lumens is a bit bright for the eyes of oncoming bicyclists or the drivers of oncoming cars. The 800 and 450 lumen settings take less juice, so the battery lasts longer while using these settings. For my purposes, the 800 or even 450 lumen settings are quite adequate for most of my on-road night riding. To insure long battery life, the manual suggests that owners should let the battery completely run down before recharging. This would likely be the case for any rechargeable bike light, but it gives one cause to pause as to what might happen on a long ride when the battery runs dry. Will you cary a spare light? The spare could be any old light to allow you to get home safely, or it could be another high intensity light. This would not be a problem if you just recharged the battery after each use, or perhaps when the charge drops to 50% (when on off button shows yellow light).Keep in mind that you may want to use the 150 lumen flash or pulse modes in the daytime to enhance your safety when riding in daytime traffic, or on long rides that end well after dark, you may be operating light in one setting or another for a long time.To prolong battery life, I plan to let my light discharge before recharging. My solution was to purchase a second Lezyne 1300XXL, and then use the two lights in sequence so that I will always have a fully charged spare on board if one becomes fully discharged.I like this light that much. It seems to be well designed and well built. The strap that attaches the light to my handlebars seems to hold the light securely in place while allowing me to lower to raise the angle of the light body in the event that the light is operating at the 1300 lumen setting and an occasional vehicle approaches without having to change the intensity of the beam. The only criticism is that I have about the light is that although the "race mode" is a great addition, allowing the rider to quickly switch from1300 lumens to a lower setting, that low setting in "race mode" is perhaps too low for most uses."Also please note that Lezyne offers some to interesting accessories for this light including a remote control button. These options and the light itself are described in more detail on the Lezyne website: https://ride.lezyne.com

Sinon excellent produit. Leyzine reste une valeur sûre.
