I bought this pump as a replacement as the one I've had for many years broke a couple of weeks ago. It's great. It comes with a huge variety of options and is actually better than my original pump!

My house uses a lot of ketchup and my local walmart carries the 114 ounce square container of Heinz. It's great for the big wide mouth when you're dipping out ketchup by the cup for recipes but is otherwise a little annoying to dispense if you just want a squirt for your hot dog or something. Heinz makes a pump unit specifically for that ketchup container but I refuse to pay 35+ dollars for that if I don't have to. This unit comes with the correct size lid for that container but the pump itself is just about a quarter inch (give or take a little) too long to let the lid screw onto the container with the pump attached. There is something like an inch at the bottom of the pump past the ball valve where an extension is supposed to plug into it so it can suck up the ketchup on the bottom. In order to make this work on an 114 ounce container you need to take a tool such as a dremel with a cut off wheel and cut off some of that extension tube, then it will fit in the bottle and let you screw the lid down. Course this means you probably can't use the extension tube any more but as I don't think I'll ever be purchasing gallon size restaurant units that's probably not a big deal. So while this is made to work with a variety of container sizes it will need a small adjustment to work with the 114 ounce container. There is a "portion" control collar that is easily removed if you don't want to use that. Looks like it's made well and as long as it's not abused it should last awhile if you take care of it.
