This little machine already paid for its self, but I would be surprised if it lasts long at all. I'll be happy to buy another though! It works better on larger fuzzies and needs to be emptied after each use- but it's really simple to use and didn't damage any of the material that I tried it on. I would recommend being careful around button holes though, it's basically an X of razors behind a guard that shaves off fuzz. It's fairly quiet and I was genuinely surprised at how well it worked. I tried it on a pillow that I was going to throw away and now am able to use. After that I used it on a wool pea coat and it did a great job. I've already saved more in products than this cost, and it's very easy to use. Attached is the pillow that I started with. The cleared area is in the upper right, it only tools about 2 minutes to do the whole pillow.

This is the miracle I was hoping for when I bought this. It took my favorite shirt that was smothered in little fuzz balls and made it glorious again. So smooth & slinky 😍😍It has so much more power than battery operated versions. The reason I made my title "Hold on tight" is because this sucker has so much power that it sucks up the fabric and caused a tiny hole (which I stitched back up, no biggie but least now I know). You need to use it on a flat surface like a table and hold the fabric tight and move slowly.My clothing is all like new again. I'm completely in love.

It's not as convenient as a battery operated one but this one works very well. I like the fact that you don't have to slow down when the battery begins to wear down. It's not as convenient having to plug it in but I love it

This was the second one I purchased. (My vacuum ate the cord of the first one, my fault, & only used a month, and not very much). The second one I bought worked about 5 minutes and just stopped. Tried everything, but wasn't even clogged, so no idea why. I have ordered a third one, as I like the material part that helps pick up loose bits, and will update this review after I have tried it out awhile. I do like the size, but the cup that holds the lint can come off which makes a huge mess. Also, while it is priced cheaper, it is also made very cheaply. Seams of plastic body are not tight so lint gathers inside unit, which could be why it only worked 5 minutes! It still beats the battery kind....cost of batteries make this electric unit ideal.Update: I've now bought then returned 4 of these. I give up! Lint container won't stay on or they just quit working for no reason. One even would not stay plugged in to the outlet(just slid right on at the slightest cord movement). Really wanted an electric unit but going back to old battery shaver!

I bought the sweater shaver to work on my living room area rug. The sweater shaver did a great job of removing the piling. Took me an hour to do the job though. Also I had to take off the blade inside the shaver too frequently as it would get stuck with the piling.

I just got this yesterday..so time will tell but I've used it on three sweaters and I love it! My sweaters look brand new. It fills up quickly but works great. It doesn't require batteries which is great and the cord is long enough to move around without disturbing fabric.

I LOVE this device. It makes old sweaters look new and having a cord vs batteries gives it so much power. I started with a conair sweater shaver but wore it out quickly. I've used this one equally as much and it's still going strong. It does work best on thicker knit sweaters. I use a much lighter touch on thinner sweaters and only sometimes dare to try it on t shirts....it can cause holes if the fabric is too thin, as I have learned. Overall I completely recommend this product!

Works fine, but only with electricity. There is no battery to work on its own. Also, if you need to clean something big, you need to clean it more often. In general, it works well
