I love to attend outdoor concerts with my husband or girlfriends in the summertime, and there's nothing more annoying when you're sitting on uneven ground than having to worry about your drink rolling down hill -- except maybe for the danger of fellow spectators kicking it over. The picnic stix are a brilliant and cool solution to both of those problems! They're sturdy, and they have no trouble piercing the ground (unless it's bone dry), providing a nice, stable place to set your glass. Being able to drink out of a real wine glass, instead of a plastic cup, is a nice bonus. We tend to get a lot of envious comments from people sitting around us!

I saw a bunch of people using these this Summer and was super jealous because they're so handy, so I had to get some for myself and I'm happy I did! This is great for outdoor picnics where you sit on the ground, before we would always balance our drinks on unlevel ground or between our legs, no more! Now we can just stick these in the ground and have a place to put our wine! I docked it a star because it does tend to be difficult to get into the ground, but once you get them in they're perfect!

So many of my friends were impressed by these, they were easy to use inexpensive, and perfect for what we wanted. The only caveats would be when pulling your wine glass out it's sometimes easy to spill, so just be conscious of what you're doing when taking your wine glass out, and when putting the stakes in don't press down on the top parts of the coils, use the stems themselves as the wires can bend if you press on the top.

Perfect. I agree with another poster that the bottle holder would not accommodate larger bottles (such as champagne, etc) but for a typical bottle, it works great and has a nice sturdy grip. I like that both the glass & bottle holders have secure fits. I don't feel like the glass is going to slide out if bumped. If I could change anything it would be for them to be longer/taller but if you're using them for an outdoor picnic where you're on the ground or in low seated chairs, it's perfect.

These holders are too short. The one for the bottle might work though, if you are in a place with hard soil. You'll still need to sharpen the stake by yourself. It came not sharpened. The ones for wine glasses do not work at all. If you want your glass to be at least 2" of the ground that ants don't get into it right away, you'll only have 4.5" of the stake length left to put into the ground. With empty glass it's not working, but if you fill it with wine... THERE IS NOT WAY! I tried it on the grass and on the beach - nope. It doesn't work. It's going back.

Love these! Our friends brought these to a picnic at an outdoor concert and they were so cool! They worked perfectly with our regular-sized wine glasses! Of course, the next day I had to go online and order them myself. I like that the stakes are long enough so they really hold the glasses and bottle sturdy. Great idea :-)

We bought this for a wedding present and it was well received. We let everyone know where we got it. Its such a unique and fun idea. Now we want a set for our own backyard oasis. The set was exactly as described. Is very sturdy, great quality and came to us in plenty of time thanks to super fast shipping. Will definitely buy again (for ourselves, too!)

Truly works as advertised. We recently tested this in a grass field and on sand. Once you shove the bottle holder in far enough it will hold a full bottle of wine just fine. Exactly as advertised. Yay.

These holders look very elegant and classy, but I was disappointed to discover that they are very short, which makes them practical only if you're sitting down on the grass/blanket, not when you're sitting in a lawn chair. I guess that's why they're called a picnic set after all, I should've realized they're short, but it would've been useful to include their actual dimensions in the description.
