The degree of wobble (23 degrees, I believe?) concerned me at first because I've previously used BOSU's half-bubble model (flipped upside down so as to balance on the bubble itself). In practice, I realized I don't need to heel 30 degrees if my goal is to stay level. This model gets top marks for degree of wobble. I selected this product over BOSU's and the imported plastic models because it seems more durable, can be repaired at home because it's wood, and it's decently priced (about $20 when I purchased). Since I have nerve damage from a compound ankle fracture,it helps keep my foot in place and the tactile experience with my numb foot. The downside is the bottom. It needs to be rounded like a ball more. I don't get the full stretch when it is designed like a rounded. Flat ball. If that makes sense.
