I am a great fan of Barbara Cartland novels....whenever I bought one I am sure I will have a wonderful time readind it...full of romance, beautiful descriptions, deep feelings and moral values.

This is one of my top five Cartland Books. A handsome King and an attractive Princess who were matched to save the country from Bonaparte. They met only one day and were married the next day. I love the way the characters were developed. I was drawn to them . The Queen gave the King a challenge to make her fall in love with him only then will she sleep with him to which the King accepted.I love the ending and the transformation of the King from a weak leader to a King acting with authority during the revolution. I have read this book several times.

Having read over 300 books by BC I'm certainly impressed with this one. Unlike her other books where the hero and heroine fall in love all of a sudden , love grows gradually between the two and it's certainly romantic and sweet ❤
