Love it

It's really tough to write a review after only having the product for less than two days but this is what I have so far. The skin is a great addition to my Surface Pro 4. However a great attempt was made to contour the back of the Surface but it sits right along the edges of the air vents which gets hot. (I suspect the edges will start to peel under these conditions.) What I did to mitigate against this was trim some of the skin so that skin was more centered and functional. I also had to trim the top and bottom part of the skin to prevent issues with opening and closing of the tablet stand.I'll update this review at a later date if anything changes.

I bought this to protect the back of my Surface Pro 4 as well as to hide some of the minor scratches (since I bought the tablet used). It seems like it is of high quality, is thick (compared to a standard screen protector, which is good in this case) and it was relatively easy to install without any air bubbles. The great thing about these is that you don't really have to worry about lint or dust particles.One thing to watch out for, it is a tight fit, so make sure things are lined up before fully pressing down on the protector. It is possible to remove it and retry, but the adhesive is pretty strong so you need to be careful if you have to remove and realign.For the bottom stand section, I first lined up the logo, then made sure the top was lined up with the edge. I couldn't really get it perfect, but it was good enough.For the top, I first lined things up on the top edge and the camera cutout.For both panels you want to press from the center to the outside edges.One downside is this product does not have the side decals like others...but I can live with that.

This ultra thin decal looks amazing. Unless you know there is something on there you would never guess that it's on. Protection wise - I'd say it's not going to protect against any bumps or drops but it will definitely help with all "light" scratches that you would get under normal use. My complaint is... When putting this in a backpack it will eventually start to lift on the corners. I did try to reach out to the seller and their response was more on the line of... IF (as in... if you decide to take your MOBILE tablet out) put it in a protective cover. In other words - put this on your surface AND put a cover (or put it in a case) to prevent that from happening. I can see their point but i feel that the skin should be able to hold on a little bit longer. In conclusion, the looks are 100% there - enough that I picked up a Surface Go skin from the same seller - just wished 1. it was a little more "Heavy Duty" or 2. Charge me a bit more and give me two skins or have a warranty for a replacement if it starts peeling. I may be asking for much but... oh well.

The color is not exact but in my mind it is sufficient. Definitely worth the trade-off of keeping (basically) the original look and feel while protecting the device from scratches. Have had some extremely minor issues with the corner near the hinge coming up against the other half of the device when the hinge is in action. This subsided with time, but now there's an itty bitty microscopic corner of skin decal that is dog eared.

Very good match with the Surface Pro body color. Good skin for people who just want protection but don't want to change the look of their device too much.Update 2018: Recently bought this again for a Surface Pro 2017. Works very well and fits just as before. One caveat, however, is that the Surface Pro 2017 kickstand bends back much further than Surface Pro 4, and the skin does very slightly impede this. I had to cut off about 1mm of material on each side to get it to bend all the way. This might not be an issue for you if you don't bend the kickstand all the way back.

As a protective decal, it works. My only complaint is that the decals fit exactly the dimensions of the Surface. The problem with that is as you move the stand, the decals hit each. This as caused the decal on the moving stand to peel off on one corner. Maybe they should take off 1 mm to allow for the movement of the stand. Had to buy another one & will probably cut off that 1 mm myself.

So far so good! The cutouts are pretty damn near perfect and putting it on was easy. I like the silver color as it looks like the original surface color with added protection. Now I am not as worried if things spill or scratch the back as I know this will provide adequate protection.

Came quickly, but after about 2 months mine started to peel up around the edges. I ended up taking it off and throwing it out. Nice thing, no one knew it was a sticker because it looks exactly like the back of the laptop.

This does not meet my expectations since it peels off easily at the corners.For a product that costs so much now $53.00, it should have a lifetime guarantee and not peeled off easily like that. I hope it is not made in CHINA? If it is, then I think you should change vendors.

i got the surface pro 4 skin and you cant even tell its there, its thick so it will protect from scratches and dings. Highly recommend getting this product if you dont want to scratch the back of your surface pro 4.

Very good quality. I needed the sticker as the back of my surface pro has become quite scratched up. Now it looks good and feels good
