Really interesting and varied
I love reading poetry and am an NHS manager so when I ordered this book I was really interested to find out how it was written and how it would make me feel. It's a wonderful collection of truth, dare and grit. Some of the poems really hit a nerve for me in the best way. Part of the collection will make you laugh and others will make you wonder. This book is perfect for those interested in hospitals, health or when groups of individuals are thrown together in a pot.I intend to send copies as gifts to people I know living overseas as I know they will enjoy it as much as I have.Usually when I read poetry I dip in and out of it but this book caused me to set my phone down and read every word, every page in one go. It was a blissful few hours.

It’s too cheap for such a volume of earnest verse
I knew the author when we were young drs , and I was amazed to learn recently of his poetic talents . Had to buy the book of course. Thanks Bernard for the company in Edinburgh all those years ago. Another muse to taunt us when science has lost its allure. When I have fears as Keats had fears that one day I shall not be, I will soothe those fears with lots of beers and a book by Bernard Stacy .Bryan manly Hopkins.
