Better than advertised!
I really had doubts that this rather thin woven blanket would be adequate or even survive the wash cycle. It looked, from some of the photos that have lights behind it, as if it is nearly see-through. It is none of that. I ordered the sky blue, upon receipt put it in front of bright lights and couldn't see through it's weave. It is thin, but only as it's supposed to be in manufacturing and has been made very well. The weave is taut, it arrived in perfect shape, washed and dried excellently and the dye lot and selvedge edges are also quality. The two edges that are sewn are excellent and deeply hemmed with secure stitching. It has a nice weight to it and is comfortable without flimsy softness that wouldn't be expected in a quality cotton woven blanket of this weight. I am very pleased and will buy more of this item and brand. I use it under my new comforter, and have it placed on top of a microfiber topsheet which is layered over a percale cotton sheet topsheet over the matching percale fitted bottom sheet, also from a seller on Amazon. This allows preservation of the comforter, and enough warmth to be three-season in the North. The weight of this blanket is beneficial to falling and staying asleep, in my experience. I chose this blanket over several others because of the Dobby design in the weave, which I decided was going to help the blanket last even if washed frequently. I have also noticed, which I didn't expect, that by using this blanket directly in my stack under the microfiber comforter, that the comforter and sheets no longer end up markedly askew the next morning and making the bed is really only straightening the coverings, now. I am super pleased with this "Yankee-layering" blanket and recommend it! Go get one, this is useful and great quality!

Excellent Product
This blanket is an excellent product. I like the fact that it is a little larger than standard twin sizes. This way, my feet get covered all the time, too.A problem with other blankets is that they are good for deep winter months, but don't regulate heat well during summer/warm months, and when you start over-heating, it wakes you up out of a sound sleep. To the contrary, this blanket, being 100% cotton, regulates changing body temperatures very well so you can get your best night's rest.Another thing I like about this product is the tight weave of the fabric. Some cotton blankets have such an open weave, you can put your fingers through it. This lovely blanket is nothing like that. It has a nice tight, flat, patterned weave that is nice to the touch and is a comfort against the skin.I also like the color. A lot of blankets come in unpleasant colors. The blankets in this line have some very nice colors like my lavender one.100% cotton blankets wash up well and store easily. They don't pill (like fleece blankets) and keep their youthful appearance for years to come.I can highly recommend these beautiful blankets for any one and for any season.

PERFECT WEIGHT
Cotton waffle weave blanket, love it. It doesn't slide off the bed. It's a good weight, not to heavy or too light. Good by itself for summer or under a comforter for winter. Gets softer with each washing. Cotton shrinks so I bought the king size for my queen size bed, fits great. Since then got a king bed and it still fits but its about 3-4 inches short on each side. It doesn't cover the mattress as well as I would like. But I still love it and would buy again. I have been using this blanket for a year now.

Great cotton blanket - be sure you understand what that means before you buy!
This blanket is exactly what I was looking for and I think if you really understand what a pure cotton blanket is before purchasing, you will have no issue. With respect to some of the negative reviews, I agree the description is misleading when it describes the blanket as "soft." A pure cotton blanket is not going to be soft - at least not in the traditional sense. The blanket has some stiffness to it, and it has some weight to it though I would not say it is heavy by any means. It is thin, as I'd expect it to be - and in combination with the weight, this provides warmth in cooler months and stays breathable in warmer months (this is why I like, and the reason I buy, cotton blankets). In response to reviews that said the blanket is more like a tablecloth... it is not that thin, truly - but don't expect to receive a soft, fluffy blanket because that is not what this is. It is, as some reviewers have stated, very much like a hospital blanket.Details and Measurements, for reference: I ordered the blanket in white and it is pure white. I make this point because another reviewer ordered white and described what was received as ecru. I assume that must have been a mix up with the shipment because what I received is definitely a true white. The blanket did not pill after washing, and I did not find significant lint in the dryer lint trap.I'm using this blanket in a guest room and if the description is correct and the blanket is supposed to measure 90X90, it's either off, or it shrunk when I washed it. Note - I did NOT follow the instructions (must be washed in cold water, gentle cycle, as much water as possible). The blanket, after washing in warm water with other items and tumble drying low, measures about 92X82. The queen size mattress I'm using it on is about 10" high and the blanket falls about 12" from the top of the mattress on either side. It falls about 16" from the top of the mattress at the foot of the bed, enough for me to tuck in securely. So I think it works fine and I'm happy with it. That said, I purchased the same blanket in gray for another guest room with a queen bed, so I will measure the blanket before and after I wash it, and this time I will follow the instructions to see if it makes any difference and update this review accordingly. One comment about Utopia - I received an email thanking me for my purchase, offering tracking information for the item, and requesting that if there was any reason I would not rate the item as 5 stars, to please let them know and they would try to make it right. Now, I am rating the item 5 stars so I can't say how responsive they might have been if I were to have a problem, but I thought it was very proactive and customer friendly to reach out in this manner so I thought I'd mention it.

Recommend, but color description was not true
Like this cotton blanket. However, concerning color, I ordered teal [hex code #008080]. But the blanket I recevied is not teal. The color description is not true; blanket is steel blue [hex code #4682B4]. The intention was for the blanket to match my teal drapes, but it doesn't. Blanket is bluer and grayer, less green than teal. But the blanket is attractive enough to keep. The weave's geometric pattern is pleasing, and hopefully will hold up for years without yarns snagging. Washed and dried blanket before putting on the bed. For the full size, to have the blanket fit so there's some (a lot) to tuck in at the bottom, the selvage is at the top and bottom, but the side seams are folded and sewn down. From the item photos at Amazon, there's no way to discern where the selvage will be on the bed. Appreciate the reasonable price for this blanket (<30). Quality and price matter. Even a few dollars more and I probably would have opted for something else.
