Neptune Challenge

WOW! My kids read The Neptune Project in the fall and we were all so anxious for the next book. Well, it was worth the wait! The action is darn near non-stop, the characters true to themselves from the first book, and the ending leaves you knowing there should be a third book! I love the way Ms. Holyoke makes even the evil characters vulnerable and ones you would like to see redeemed- well, except for one particular Keeper. The interplay between the two groups of kids is really fascinating, and is part of the constant tension of the story. I want more of all of them!

It was definitely worth the wait. It was every bit as good or better than the first book, The Neptune Project. Though written for middle school students, this is a book - or rather, a series that anyone of any age can enjoy. I certainly hope Ms. Holyoke plans to continue with a third book. She's left room for the story to continue. I for one want to find out if, in fact, The Neptune Project will succeed in saving our planet and seas from global warming. What a great way to get kids interested in what's happening to the world they all live in.

My child loved this series when it was borrowed from our local library. My child asked to purchase this for our home library. It arrived promptly, and was read again! My child stated it is for a 7th grade reading level.

Both stories were full of adventure with an interesting plot. Global warming on earth is rapidly affecting earth and our resources. The neptune project has an interesting twist to it and perhaps points mankind to the ocean for possible survival for mankind. I have recommended these stories to friends and they have thoroughly enjoyed the stories. Can't wait to read her next novels!!

Clever storyline. Different. I liked the way the author developed the characters simply, but you know enough about them to care. I found myself actually emotional sometimes during the story.I think this is an entertaining series of books, and can't wait to read the next in the series.

At some points it made me a little scared, but I was too anxious to stop reading. :-)Now I can't wait for Neptune Conspiracy!

Bought this book for my daughter. She wanted it after the author visited her school. She loved the book!

My daughter loved this book. She was sad there wasn't a next one. The third book finally came out In December. Now we need the ISBN #s to include the books in the accelerated reader book finder
