Good kit and screen looks good, easy to replace. Backlight drains battery quickly even at lowest setting, and multi-touch functionality fairly poor quality to the original screen. Touch screen is quite sensitive and jumpy to use, although still very useable.

The toolkit gave all of the correct information and easy help guide, good screen quality as well. Will buy again from the company.

This screens deactivates Face ID, I’m not sure why because I kept everything original and changed just the screen,

Package arrived, looks the business, very well presented 10 out of 10. Confidence immediately installed. Instructions provided for taking phone apart ready for new screen. **I am an engineer and even I find this bit fiddly, but that’s nothing to do with the product but worth bearing in mind when deciding to replace your own screen**.Screen dismantled and ready for new screen to be installed. Now this is where things start to go wrong - there are no instructions on how to re-assemble the new screen. It’s not just a simple process of working backwards from the dismantle instructions, there are very specific things that need to be carried out. Adhesive tabs need removing to hold components from the old phone, cable ribbons need sorting in order etc. Luckily with my knowledge in this area I was able to figure it all out. However, this is not the big fail...... The big fail is that once I had connected all the ribbon cables and tested the screen, which worked perfectly and still does, the screen would not actually fit my phone. Now before you say it, no, my phone hasn’t been damaged to the point of changing shape nor twisted. The old screen had a single crack across the front so the new screen should fit perfectly - it doesn’t, not even slightly. In the dark, along most of the edges, you can see at least a 0.5mm gap. This means the phone should defiantly not but used the in the slightest glimpse of rain and also means it could easily come apart. Such a shame as this product had such potential. The I’m not going to peruse a refund, to much hassle replacing the screen I’ll simply silicone around the edge and be done with it.

Arrived damaged

Have fitted many of these screens, however for this particular one:Does not match the exact OEM fitting, has a missing screw slot and instead a blank plastic in place which then cracks screen under pressure, does not fit correctly or tightly as a result.The screen was instantly with a hairline blue-ish colour across the screen, now it's not tightly fitted which means it's not water proof, and it has spread blue tint damage to the screen in just a day or so after fitting it on.
