As they warm up in the mouth they start to soften up a little bit so they become the texture of a harder, "chewy" taffy. They are sweet without being cloyingly so. In other words, it doesn't put you into a sugar shock. There are a total of five flavors in the purchase I made; vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, and honeydew. Even the one that I like least of all (honeydew) is still REALLY GOOD, and I would still be very happy munching on a couple of those. There is no sour aspect to the candy's flavor it is creamy and sweet and tastes just like ice cream or a milkshake. I enjoy eating a chocolate, vanilla, and banana flavored one all at the same time and I call this my "banana split". If you, a friend, or family have a sweet-tooth this is a wonderful thing to get.
