Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara 001 Black

Love that this tints my lashes - perfect for days that I go makeup free. Stays on well, no clumping or flaking. comes off easily. My only complaint is i don't like big brushes, so I use another applicator.

My lashes are dark blonde/light brown and very thin. This stuff does work to slowly tint them darker and doesn't irritate my eyes like regular eyebrow & eyelash tints do. It is very subtle and it takes time, but it does work. The downsides are that this smudges VERY easily, so you will get raccoon eyes, and if you like longer, spidery type lashes that seem to be all the rage right now- this won't do that. I've found if I put this on first, let it dry, and then top with a waterproof mascara it greatly minimizes smudging and still slowly tints my lashes. It's not the best mascara, but it is the only one I've found that tints over time- why isn't that more common!?

I have tried A LOT of different mascaras and this one def makes the cut. I wear contacts so flaking is a hard no for me. With this I do not have problems with that, smudging or clumping. I do prefer the more natural look and this mascara is great for that and when I'm going out I just add another coat or two.

I bought this mascara because ads said it would darken your eyelashes in 2 weeks, kinda like a dye, and then you could go without mascara. This stuff clumped, flaked, and gave me raccoon eyes! But it was easy to clean off because the mascara was mostly off by the end of the day. Very disappointed!

Sometimes Rimmel mascaras so good. To me,this wasn't one . A colorist mascara. Ya hafta keep applying,applying to get a nice coverage and I expected after I read about it,that it lightly darken lashes with use. Almost like a lash dye without the big tadoo. Did not . maybe 😏 i misunderstood,but even withy light lashes when I had finished , " Meh."

I like the formula. They don't dye your lashes as some say, but it doesn't clump much and that's what I look for. A mascara that doesn't make me resemble a racoon.

I don’t know whether this dyes your eyelashes because I just couldn’t stand to wear it more than 3 days. It’s so heavy and dark, definitely not for daytime use. I also noticed some darkness right below my eyes after, even after removing mascara and washing my face. My guess is the bit that fell off over the day darkened my skin. It went way the next day, but still. I was hoping for something so I could not wear mascara some days, but having to have this on is just not worth it.

Goes on great doesn’t smudge

This mascara works well for me but it’s not available anymore it seems. Discontinued I reckon ☹️

Tal y como indica la descripción, llega en un paquete sin mayor recubrimiento. Aunque es lo ideal. No lo he probado suficiente, ya actualizaré en caso de tener alguna noticia relevante sobre mi producto, pero en principio se nota increíble. Aunque algo más voluminoso de lo que creí al ver las fotografías, y lo prefiero así. Tiene un diseño elegante y robusto, se nota calidad. Es interesante encontrar esta máscara de pestañas de esta marca a buen precio, sobretodo en ofertas como la que pedí el producto (3,05€) y francamente no daría mucho más. El precio es el justo.

This is my all time favorite mascara and I could no longer find it in stores. It gives lashes a subtle tint but it’s still a mascara too. It’s lighter and less chunky than any other mascara I’ve tried.
