A valuable tool to have around.
When doing auto repair you always never have enough magnets because 50% of the time you are looking for a dropped bolt or a tool you dropped and i'll tell you now i spent and hour looking for a socket and after trying to find it to figure out a couldn't reach it and needed a magnet it just shows how valuable tool it really is. This magnet is just another regular extendable magnet. If the magnet can pick up a socket then that's all i really needed it for and it does exactly that. I like how the head it fixed and doesn't flex because then it gets stuck on other things. Magnet isn't super strong but is strong enough to pick up most bolts and sockets. It will pick up a 22mm impact socket but it struggles. Otherwise the price is decent and quality is good.

Strong magnet great for those with mobility issues.
I use this magnet to pick up razor sharp blades we use at work. The magnet is very strong, it’s able to pick up surgical scissors (rounded tip). It helps me pick up razors that fall in areas that would be a hazard to pick up by hand. Also great if you have mobility issues, knee or back pain/trouble bending over.

My dad's favorite Christmas present!
I bought this as an add on for my dads Christmas present, mostly as a joke because he always drops screws and nails when we are working on projects. Turns out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread of you are a dude in your 70's. If you want to make you dad's day, you should buy one of these!

Very strong magnet
Works as advertised. It's a super strong magnet on a telescoping handle. My only concern is that the handle might not be strong enough for the magnet. If you actually try picking up something that is heavy, the shaft could bend or snap, depending on how far it is telescoped.

ok
It feels very sturdy in the hand, but there's versatile/ practical ones out there. Get the ones with a pivoting head instead of having simply a fixed head. The pivoting head is useful because the magnet only grabs on the bottom; the knurled metal surrounding the magnet prevents the magnet form latching itself to things. Which is both a good and bad thing.
