It can be used in many applications where you need to create a watertight seal. Metal roofs, ponds, lightly rusted areas, and more. Use Liquid Rubber Seam Tape or Liquid Rubber Geo-Textile to bridge seams, joints, vents, protrusions to create a long lasting repair or rejuvenation. Apply when temperature is above 5C/41F. Apply to a dry surface, free of dirt, loose flaky paint and coatings, oil, grease, silicone, coal tar or other contaminants. Typically cures within 24-48 hrs. Do not freeze. Store in a warm area. Do not apply in wet conditions or if rain is forcasted within 24 hrs. Not meant as a constant walking surface. Coverage - Vertical Surfaces - Apply a minimum final thickness of 1 gallon/30 sq ft (2.8 sq m). It should require around 2-3 heavy coats to achieve a 30 mil. (0.76mm) (DFT) membrane. This also works good for dipping tool handles into such as pliers, channel locks, or hammers to put a new rubber coating on them.
