Helps with senior dog dimentia
I started giving this to my senior (14 year old) German Shepherd mix for cognitive support. I have noticed a remarkable difference in his enthusiasm, alertness, and cognition. He was starting to get up during the night and wander or stare. This product seems to have helped him tremendously. Thank you! We started with two pills per day (he's 70 lbs) and have backed off to one per day for maintenance. It's working!

PLEASE READ: Okay, let me tell you....if your dog suffers from Canine Cognitive Dysfunction, this product works....seriously.
My 13 year old started showing signs via spacing out, blankly staring, soiling her bed, pacing anxiously, and not giving affection any longer. She was also acting apathetic (depressed). This was all happening within a matter of a month. Thankfully, 2.5 months later, she acts like a much younger version of herself and the behavior above has stopped completely. Give it at least 1.5 months and be diligent about doing it to see its effects. Do not skip. Also, pair this with providing your dog some sort of mental stimulation every day. I take my dogs out now every morning and we go on a 45-minute smelling safari walk. The walk gives them something to look forward to every day and a sense of purpose. Change up the route as much as possible foe further mental stimulation, which they need. Imagine if you were inside all day long, laying down, looking and smelling the same things. Your brain would become quite vegetative I'm sure. After 2 months, incorporate other supplements for added free radical protection such as a high quality fish oil, gingko biloba, and coconut oil.

Seems to improve mental health in our senior
We had a couple of "senior moments" with our old rescue schnauzer, and one of them resembled a full on panic attack. That was scary for all of us, so I talked to our vet and he recommended otc SAMe. Came to Amazon, and have been giving him this for a month and a half. It seems to have helped him - he is more alert, is happy, and isn't having moments of confusion ("where am i? where are you?"). While the pill is large for a mini schnauzer, I squoosh it into 1/2 a pill pocket and he eats it right away. Our vet said to give it at least a month, and that seems about right. While it is a little pricey, we don't mind helping our ole man live out his golden years.

Works well, great price, bad smell
Seem to have pepped up my dog who was suffering from liver issues after being on fluconozole for several years. These are quite a bit cheaper than the brand name and work as well. They do have, however, a strongly unpleasant odor.

If it works will be worth every dollar
This is for my dog, I don't know how it tastes, was expensive, but if it works will be worth every dollar. Sooo I gave it a middle rating, will really know after a month or so

Seriously, do dogs eat this?
I have a 16 year old pup who is on prednisone and constantly begging me for food yet I CANNOT get her to take one of these pills. First off, they are humongous. Is there no way to make them smaller or can i cut them in pieces? Second, they must smell horrible as I literally wrap them in steak and she still will not touch it. I have even coated in peanut butter and wrapped in steak and she still manages to take the pill out. She did use to take these with treats but its only been in the last 6 months that she wont eat. Did the product change? New ingredients to cut costs?

Work great for the price
Much cheaper than name brand medicine and works just as well. Her liver levels are perfect. We just give her the pill in some peanut butter. Tried buying the bacon flavor one but she didn’t eat that

Same Plus
Have been giving this to my dog for the second year now. Her last lab work showed excellent improvement on her liver. Almost back to normal. We thought we would lose her last year and the vets suggested surgery but we opted for a more natural medication. I would say give it a try like we did. Our dog is now over 13 years old and she's happy like a youngster.
