We Bought three Julia Donaldson toys all have been excellent for the kids the snail is small so keep an eye out for little one’s putting it in there mouth these Julia Donaldson toys have been great for the kids they love them got all three on a really good deal and delivered next day 5⭐️ service

But the snail shouldn’t be detachable as it comes off too easy and was lost for a long time!

This is now my 3rd order of this... My son loves it but...as I said this is my third one... The tail snaps off as soon as your child falls over carrying it. Your child is deeply upset, but you can fix him. You superglue it back on, but superglue is brittle. It would survive adult play but an adult isnt buying this toy for themselves...not even for an older child as julia donaldson is for the younger lot. it breaks again as a result of the brittle glue but you try again, and again...and again.. eventually you just buy another as its doing your head in and your kid is bereft. For god's sake though, superglue that snail on if you ever want to see it again... Dont even give it to them until you do... Unless you like turning over your entire house multiple times a day trying to find it.

When I opened the package I was thinking will this last long and will the snail get lost. The little boy it was for is ... very energetic, shall we say. Also it wasn't as big as I though it would be, however he absolutley loves it. He loves watching the film on tv and we bought him the book too. At the time of writing this review all is well. Whale and snail are still intact.

This is such a lovely figurine. My 2.5 yr old daughter loves the book and movie so was ecstatic when we got this for her. Unfortunately you have to watch her like a hawk with it because the freaking snail is so freaking small! I’m currently on all fours searching around the living room for it. It attaches to the whale via a small little non but would be much more useful if it was Velcro or something a toddler could operate.I would just buy a new one but as character figurines go, it’s quite expensive. Wish me luck! She will not stop going on about it!

My daughter loves all the set from gruffalo to highway rat. Got quite the collection. This one however disappointed. The whale feels cheap and tatty for the price.

Very cute, however it is much smaller than expected and the snail is not attached and is very small and not really suitible for toddelers

My son loves this the snail in my opinion could’ve been bigger so we don’t loose it.
