A very convenient way to cool you off
This neck fan was easy to set up and well-packaged, with a flexible silicone band that makes it more comfortable to wear. It has four speed settings and a handy LED display showing either speed or remaining battery, which charges easily via USB. On higher speeds, the upward airflow can be a bit much—especially if you have long hair or sensitive eyes—but lower speeds strike a nice balance between cooling and comfort. It runs quietly, which is a big plus in social or outdoor settings. The fan is lightweight and comfortable enough that you can wear it for long periods without noticing it much. Overall, it’s a convenient and thoughtfully designed product that works well.

Great For Those Who Get Hot Easily
I tend to be a pretty warm person and I sweat a lot, especially when doing any sort of physical activity. One of my coworkers had one of these and I decided to try it for myself. It works great! Even with my limited use of it so far (it’s winter) I have noticed that this neck fan is super comforting if I happen to be too warm. I’ve used it intermittently for the month I’ve had it and so far I have only had to recharge it once. The lowest setting especially lasts a long time and is usually all I need it at. It’s small, like a pair of headphones, and is pretty light on my neck so it’s not too bulky or heavy. They do flex a bit but I would recommend putting them on the back of your neck instead of over the head as you would a pair of headphones since I feel like that would put less stress on the mechanisms within. They’re also fairly quiet, more so than I expected. The highest setting is a little noisy, but still less so than a standard box fan in my opinion.I would definitely recommend these for anyone who struggles with the heat at all. I’m excited to put them to more use this summer.

Great Cooling Companion but Limited Battery Life
I recently purchased the CIVPOWER Portable Neck Fan in white, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance. This innovative hands-free bladeless fan provides a refreshing and cooling experience, especially during hot summer days. The design is unique, resembling a headphone, which makes it comfortable to wear around the neck. The cooling power of the CIVPOWER Neck Fan is impressive. With 78 air outlets and three adjustable speeds, it effectively circulates air around the neck and face, providing relief from heat and humidity. It's perfect for outdoor activities, sports events, or even just relaxing at home or the office. However, the main drawback of this neck fan is its battery life. Despite being rechargeable and powered via USB, the battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped. On its highest speed setting, the fan runs for about 2 to 2.5 hours before needing a recharge. While this might be sufficient for shorter outings, it becomes inconvenient during extended trips or outings where access to a USB power source is limited.Another minor concern is that the fan can be a bit noisy, especially on the highest speed. It may not be bothersome in outdoor settings, but it could be distracting in quieter environments or when using it while trying to concentrate. On the positive side, the fan is lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around without feeling cumbersome. It's also simple to operate, with easy-to-reach buttons for adjusting the fan speed. In conclusion, the CIVPOWER Portable Neck Fan is a worthy investment for its efficient cooling abilities and comfortable design. However, if you need a fan with extended battery life, it might not be the ideal choice. For shorter activities and moderate cooling needs, this fan should serve you well.Pros:Effective cooling performanceUnique and comfortable headphone designLightweight and portableCons:Limited battery life, especially on higher speedsSlightly noisy on the highest speed settingOverall, I recommend the CIVPOWER Neck Fan for those seeking a hands-free and efficient cooling solution. Just be mindful of its battery limitations and plan accordingly for longer outings.

Cool It! It's hot in here.
This is a great fan for those of us that can sweat even when it's not summer. Sometimes I get to working hard indoors and get too hot and not sitting in one place to use a conventional fan. This comes with me and really helps me stay cool enough to keep going. It has Low, Medium, and High. You push the button once to switch between speeds then once again to turn it off. I really appreciate that it is USB C since everything seems to be going that way. It does come with it''s own cord, USB A to C and is 21" inches long. I don't see anything special about the cable so any USB C power cable should charge it just fine. There is a tiny Red light that comes on just below the power button on the right when charging (Solid). Green when operating, Off when charged.Functionally it does have a good breeze but since I have a beard I am a little concerned that a hair may be sucked into it and yank it out. If these were headphones the air inlet is where you'd put headphones on your ears. The fan is like a squirrel cage and not like a normal fan blade. Overall this looks like it should last quite a while. The body is made of three pieces. The left and right sides where the fans and air comes out and the back part that rests against your neck. The to fan pieces are a little different white than the back piece but it doesn't look bad. It appears that the back part is what is ever so slightly flexible so you can get it on. You load it around your neck from the back as it doesn't flex enough to open it up over your head like you do headphones. Where the pieces come together there is a rubbery plastic plug that looks to be pressure fit. Beneath it there is a single Phillips screw, probably #0. Logically that must be where the battery is and while I'm sure it wasn't designed to be user serviceable, I'm sure if you're handy you could probably take it apart and replace the battery once it stops taking a charge but the instruction book says that you shouldn't attempt it.Pro's:It does a good job at creating enough of a breeze that it'll keep. you coolIt uses USB C to chargeEasy 1 button operation, easy to operateCons:The openings for air ingress is open to the lower part of your jaw line/neck and could suck a stray hair in if you also have a beard. Not very flexible so if you have a big neck then it may be tighter than you wantNo overcharge circuitDon't leave it anywhere that could reach 140F, like in your car during the summer as it says that the battery could become hot and leak/explode.No frills packaging, If you want super nice Apple Style packaging this isn't it but it's a fan, it's not really that expensive so I wasn't really looking for a fancy boxTiny writing on the tiny manual but if you can't see it, use your phone camera and zoom inNothing in the box mentions how long the warranty is for the product but it does give you two email addresses for product support, why two, I have no clue but they are as follows and says that emails are answered within 24 hours.Product-Customerservice@[email protected]: 5V 1AMax 3W (I assume power consumption but it's not clear)Charge time 3-5 HrsRuntime 3-16 hours (I assume it's depending on if you're using Low, Med, High and I assume ambient temp)Overall it's a good fan and will keep you cool.
