I did not want to spend the money on roof racks, cross bars and J hooks. This option let me spend just a little bit of money to transport my kayak around. The foam is firm, but no too hard. The straps work great and gave good clips. The rope is plenty long. The bag works great to keep everything together when I am not using. The picture makes it seem like the foam pieces are gray, but mine are white. Color really didn't matter to me.

I didn't want to spent a lot of money to have a roof rack installed onto my vehicle, but wanted a means to get my kayak around. Was a bit skeptical how well this would work, and had a hard time trusting it would stay secure. But, to my surprise it has worked quite well. Just put the foam blocks up put kayak on top and strap it down as the directions say. It holds it on there quite firm and have had no issues with it!

I use this product to transport my 75lb. 14ft. long kayak on the top of a Jeep Cherokee. It does everything I need it to do.

Works great for my compact hatchback. Just remember to unscrew your antenna.

Kinda cheaply made but overall it works and isn’t expensive so you get what you pay for.
