Maxell® DVD Video Cases, Standard, Black, Pack Of 10

Exactly what I was looking for. I needed to replace some DVD cases. I only needed a few, but every single-unit DVD case I was bought was cheap and bad quality. These are sturdy standard-size DVD cases like the kind that comes with the original DVD. Others you might get are those cheap econo cases. I only wish they came in multiple disk DVD units or perhaps in clear, but otherwise, you can't go wrong with these. They are a great value, even if you only need to replace a few DVD cases, since they are so high quality.Protip: You need A4 paper or at least paper that is slightly longer than the the standard 8.5" x 11" in order to make DVD inserts. I used the free template available on the Avery website and some legal size paper I had lying around.

I bought these because of the combination of the Maxell name and the reasonable price, and am happy to report that my confidence in Maxell is unchecked. These cases have the same quality as the cases that regular movies are sold in, rather than being too thin and flimsy or brittle. I am happy to have purchased these and will do so again.

Not much to describe about this other than the design is pretty much identical to all the other blank cases currently on sale. The build quality feels very similar to the usual cases that you get from buying DVDs, although the matte finish on the inside looks magnificent.There was a few minor imperfections from manufacturing on the outer sleeve, but it was not bad enough to cause any potential damage to any insert placed within the sleeve.

The cases are good quality and make it easy to add wrap-around cover artwork (or just a basic page describing what is inside), but they are not "slim" -- the width is more appropriate for a two- or three-DVD case. Not a fatal flaw, just be aware there are cases out there that take up less shelf space. Can't beat the price, though!

Sturdy, a great value for the money!

3-4 years ago when I first bought a couple boxes of these, the cases felt more strong and premium. This year when I bought a couple more sets of these cases, they don’t seem the same anymore. They feel like they’ve been made cheaply now, and not as premium as they used to be. Wish they can still make them the way they used to be.

I absolutely love these cases and I can easily replace my damaged dvd cases with these new cases and look good as new.

These are very sturdy single disk cases! they have a clear sleeve on the outside so you can put a cover on as well! They are perfect for what I was looking for... they are the normal size of regular DVD's which is perfect because they went into the rest of my collection! Would highly recommend.
