The last and possibly most gratifying job a rod has is to bring the fish to hand so you can capture the “Kodak,” moment for all times. This rod fits the bill.

Shattered on first sockeye
This rod is fragile and doesn’t have the strength of others I’ve tried. Broke it into three pieces reeling in a sockeye salmon which shouldn’t have been a big deal for an 8 weight. Will send it back for warranty repairs and use as a spare. Replacing it with a Scott Tidal.

My son had read a lot of reviews and had decided on this one. Excellent quality and a study carrying case. He has used it fly fishing with outstanding results. Would recommend.
