I spent a long time trying to decide which SS bowl set to buy. These are heavy, excellent quality bowls. The handle on top is helpful, and the edges are well designed. Of course they will get scratches with use - several people complained about this, but that's how stainless steel is. The scratches do not detract from the beauty. They wash well in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that they don't make a few more sizes. I would love to have one size larger and one smaller for a set of 5 instead of 3. These bowls will last forever.

Better in person. Beautiful bowls. Love them. Handle well, sturdy, no lids and no problem for me. Perfect sizes, worth every penny, should have purchased sooner. No plastic on these babies. I hated to pay the price, so I procrastinated, Perfection in a bowl. ztrying to purchase only made in USA. These exquisite bowls are designed in USA, but the labor is in China. So I waited hoping it would change to putting that labor market back in the U S A. I am happy with the bowls.

There is some dispute about the width of the handles on these. The set I received has ample room for most anyone's fingers to fit all the way under. The top width of the handle is 5/8" wide and the bottom is 7/8" wide. They were in perfect condition when received and All-Clad lids will fit on top of them if you have the right size. The smooth surface cleans up easily after making bread dough and is a very high quality non staining non rusting stainless steel bowl that is much thicker than other SS mixing bowls. These are worth the money and very high quality. As with every All-clad product I own I don't see these ever needing replacing. I have been using them for 3 months now. The inside will get micro marks that look like scratches to the mirror surface if you use a whisk or metal spoons, the surface is still smooth but just marked if you are worried about this don't use metal objects. It however does not hurt the smoothness of the finish any and a natural thing to happen to a mixing bowl with a mirror metal finish. Similar to stainless steel flatware that has a mirror finish after some time of using.

All-Clad Stainless Mixing Bowl Set These highly polished, beautiful 18/10 Stainless Steel bowls are excellent quality, durable, food grade, non-leaching, and a safe metal alloy especially, when preparing, and handling cooked or heated food. I also like that even with the handles you can stack them inside one another. They are solid including the rims, which aren't just folded over, so you don't have to worry about corrosion. They have a great shape, weight, and don't tip over. The 5 quart bowl is really quite large, so you can also serve in it, like a large mixed salad; chills very nicely! I only wish that they came with food-grade silicon lids for refrigerator storage, like my Kirkland (Costco) mixing bowls do. Treat yourself or a loved one to higher quality, sustainable, reusable, beautiful product, and you won't regret it, other than why didn't you do it sooner! Hope that this helps.

I have officially completed my review of all bowls on Earth, and these are the shiniest. They really do require eye protection 'cause of the way they reflect the sunlight. Soooo shiny! Lovely bowls. Toss all the rest out!
