Solid performer
As of this writing we've only had this little oven for a couple of weeks and haven't used it for as wide a range of foods as I anticipate we will but so far we're quite happy with it. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how well toasting English muffins, baking pizza, baking chicken, and roasting veggies turned out. The capacity is good. It's spacious enough to bake with some of my standard pans (metal. I understand you should about Pyrex in these.) The roasting pan it came with is much better quality than I've encountered before in such an appliance, and it cleans easily too. It also came with a pizza stone which seems to function as it should. Standard frozen pizza fits inside the oven without difficulty. This is proving to be just the appliance we needed to broaden our summer eating habits because we don't need to heat the big oven & heat up the condo just to bake or broil food for 2 people. Obviously any such device would do that, but with this one it's been pleasant to do so. We did have a mishap in which a young adult accidentally set fire to a flatbread she was cooking. I believe this was the result of user error. She reportedly attempted to cook it on a rack that was much to close to the upper heating element in an oven that heats up more and more quickly than the rinky, lightweight, cheap model we used for the previous decade. I wasn't home to see it but know that she put it the flame out fairly quickly with no functional damage to the appliance. I was Not Pleased, however, to observe the resulting scorched and glazed interior of my previously shiny new appliance. The interior of the door was especially disappointing as I had been enjoying the shine, clean glass and useful little interior light. I'll admit I grieved & lamented for a few days. Happily, the application of baking soda & vinegar plus some elbow grease cleaned it up relatively easily and without using harsh chemicals. * I recommend consulting the booklet for recommendations about spacing and settings. Bottom line: I am not a person who drops $$$ readily in anything. I came around to doing so after conducting a fair amount of research on models and reading an excessive number of reviews. I was concerned I might have buyer's remorse but so far the opposite is true. We're really quite pleased.

The Best!
I have to say, not only is this a beautiful looking appliance, it is also a great product. Cruisinart thought of everything when they made this machine. Very easy to operate and food comes out perfect every time. The drip pan is so easy to clean, not like the cheaper models that you have to scrub. Cruisinart also thought to make it so you able to adjust the bell so you can hear it. The convection part is quiet but definitely running. I love the speed convection. I haven't found anything that I dislike about this so far. Well worth the money. I've had toaster ovens most of my life, even another Cuisinart. This one is the best!

Cuisinart Chef’s Convection Toaster Oven -- One Year Review
I've had this toaster oven for a year now. It's been fantastic, so I figured a review might help potential buyers make a choice. I upgraded to this so I could get a 12-13" pizza in it, and it came with a pizza stone, so that works fine. It pre-heats in 5 min, beating my gas oven by 20 minutes. I use a $1/use rule of thumb for a purchase. This blows that away, I've used at least 4x daily for a year, or more than 1,400 times. Of course it does toast, but I've literally not turned my gas oven on since I plugged this in. It comes with some aluminum pans, but I bought several small stainless steel trays, links below. The smaller trays fit in, in pairs, and the larger one takes the whole size. Remember this has two racks and you can put items on both levels (and I do to get 3 or 4 foods cooking at once). The stainless is easier to clean and can drop in the dishwasher. I also discovered that a Lodge Braiser (enameled cast iron 3.6 qt) fits in like it's custom made. (The short handles go in corner to corner across the long angle). Besides being a great pan, it's inexpensive and allows braises, roast and stews to be started/ browned/seared on the range, then moved into the little oven for long roasting. There is a 2hr limit on the timer, but just check it and reset to go again. The temp range of 150 to 500 is great. I often use it as a warmer to keep dishes ready while completing another. The unit is a little large on the counter, and it's more expensive than average, but it's become my most used kitchen tool, second only to my refrigerator. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GYM74ND?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091F43YGX?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BVPN78X?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_7&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089Y9LH5T?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_8&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GY2GC6M?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_8&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B17G3CY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
