This tool is worth the cost because the set of tips fit my Hakko and are much cheaper.

This product is perfect for what I need. I work with kids and there are many times I use it. I use it a lot for putting holes in things for when we plant seedlings and flowers

Update: 10/01/22. Used it for today to rebuild an old18v battery pack. Performed well. It did burn through another tip but it was running at 450 the whole day.Had this one day. Stand is cheap and probably will end up in the recycle bin. Tips, well let me say, the one that came on the iron has already bit the dust. The solder that comes in the kit is horrible which is probably why the original tip got toasted. I solder between 60 to 100 joints a day. Bought this so when I am doing bench work I am not burning through propane. Oh yea the cord is very short. Probably will keep this iron and see if it works better with another tip and my own solder. It appeared to have with my brief testing yesterday.

Didnt even get to see it heat up. First time plugging it in, it blew up. Screen flashed and everything. waste of money

This is an excellent product. One of those things that you come across very rarely that you genuinely think is the most amazing product you've ever bought. It works great, The heat is amazing. Everything you get with it and for that price amazing. I highly recommend this product 150% you're making a mistake if you don't purchase this and get a more expensive one because you don't want to wait a couple extra days.

Pretty much everything you need in the kit, the stand to hold the soldering iron not so good but I got around this issue

I'm not a professional, just a hobby user that fixes some stuff maybe just 2-3 times a year that requires a solder iron.For this purpose, I think this kid has a good band for buck . Comes with plyers and wire cutter, a few tweezers to hold wires, a desoldering suction, a decent iron holder, some knicknacks of soldering as well. IT works just fine for a rare-soldering job. If i were someone who'd use this more often, i would probably recommend a proper soldering desktop setup.The only thing i can really be upset about is that the iron holder , once assembled, doesnt fit the case. you have to UNSCREW the bolt and somehow not-lose-the-bolt to store it back in the case. Somewhat annoying.
