Is there a difference between this and the other listing that's $149?

This one doesn't have the mechanical keyboard, it uses a more standard keyboard. As well, I think the higher dollar options have better mousepads. They seem to interchangeable though, so you might be able to order better parts if you like the base model.

Is this the mechanical version?

There are two different types. I went with the mechanical. The switches are very nice. Not too loud for me, but I like the clacks and tactile feedback. If you've never used a mechanical k/b before, I would recommend going with the other one.
