Canva basics and beyond..
Canva: Professional Tips and Tricks" is a solid guide for anyone looking to make the most out of Canva. As someone who’s already spent some time with the platform, I was surprised by how much I learned—like the duotone effect, which I hadn’t come across before. The book walks you through everything step-by-step, making it easy to create anything from a polished sales pitch to a quick photo project. What I loved most about this guide is how it shows just how powerful Canva can be, even compared to the big design programs like Adobe. It’s straightforward, user-friendly, and perfect for anyone, whether you’re a newbie or someone who’s been using Canva for a while. This book really captures what makes Canva such a great tool—it’s simple to use but has enough depth to keep things interesting as your design needs grow. If you want to up your Canva game, this guide is definitely worth a read.

A handy beginner reference, though pro users may want to skip some of the more basic sections
This guide offers an in-depth, step-by-step walkthrough of Canva’s various features, from basic tools to advanced tips for creating professional designs. It's structured to help both beginners and more experienced users navigate the platform efficiently. Patrick Ejeke includes practical insights and screenshots, making it a useful resource for individuals looking to maximize their creative output. The writing is straightforward and instructional, which suits the purpose of the book well. There’s no excessive jargon, making it approachable for non-designers. However, while the guide is thorough, some sections could benefit from trimming, especially when explaining basic functions like logging in or finding templates. Certain topics, like setting up an account or explaining the basic functions of Canva, are overly detailed and could feel redundant, especially for those who already have some experience. Additionally, the writing can be dry at times, lacking the enthusiasm that might keep readers more engaged.Readers can expect to start with simple projects and gradually move toward more intricate designs, including mastering tools like background removal or creating animated posts. The detailed screenshots are helpful, though some readers might prefer more advanced tips upfront.Compared to other Canva guides, such as "The Canva Crash Course" or "Mastering Canva," Ejeke's guide stands out for its breadth of content, covering everything from free features to Canva Pro’s more exclusive tools. It feels more expansive and less focused on just one aspect, like social media design or branding, making it a good all-rounder.

Review of Canva: Professional Tips and Tricks
Canva: Professional Tips and Tricks is an excellent guide to using Canva, with lots of helpful illustrations and advice. I've tried using Canva on my own, and have not found navigating the site very intuitive. Now, with this guide, I won't have to stumble around so much!

Disappointed
There is not a Table of Contents or an Index. Good luck if you need a fast answer to a question.

Great Resource!
I just started using Canva and have had a love/hate relationship with it. So, I thought I should take a course or read about it. This book breaks down the everything you need to know about Canva into little chunks so you can digest the information and then try it out on your own. I highly recommend this book for everyone who wants to take advantage of this great tool! I wrote my first presentation using Canva and everyone said it was great!

Practical Guide to Canva
When I was introduced to Canva, I had no instructor and no one around who could show me anything, so I went to YouTube for my lessons. Many of the items in this guide were explained there, but having them all in one resource has been extremely helpful. Additionally, this guide provides clear, step-by-step instructions that have raised my game to create professional, eye-catching designs. I like the way it's set up so you can quickly find whatever you need through the table of contents, making it an excellent essential resource for this beginner.

Some helpful content, but author needs to thoroughly edit & proofread.
Many helpful tips to work with photos in Canva. But the writer's lack of editing and proofreading (many careless errors and mistakes in grammar and punctuation distracted me from what he had to say and made it difficult to understand some of the content. I saw another review before I purchased it where the reviewer told the author how to fix the errors. The author also mentioned how he loves the feedback from customers and appreciates the thoughts which is why I included this.

Good tips with illustrations
I've been using Canva Pro for a few months now and was able to obtain a few extra tips and tricks from this book. It has illustrations and step-by-step instructions on how to do specific tasks on both Canva versions (free and pro). Useful if you're a beginner to this program.

outstanding book
A bible for Canva. It tells you pretty much everything. I’d like to see another addition in the future concentrating on any additional features they may have added. There is a few typo’s need correcting where Canva has printed as something else but the actual information is amazing and clearly laid out. I’ve read the kindle and now I’ll buy the paper version to reference, thank you. Must be one of the best books I’ve read in a long some. As other authors on other subjects tend to pad out their books which this doesn’t. It tells you what you need exactly.
