## Description

Product description Thousands of Breathings Every Day, Air Quality Matters a Lot Clean and fresh air calls for your attention if you want your home to be healthy for you and your family. CO₂ has its reputation to show whether the air is fresh enough, and high level CO₂ would lead to drowsiness. The particles also matter, especially the fine dust particles such as PM2.5, may infiltrate into our cardiovascular system and lead to serious health consequences. Monitor the CO₂ level of your office, ventilate in time to improve your working efficiency Our breathing usually is the main source of CO2 increase in indoor environments. When the CO2 level is high in a small space such as a bedroom or an office, people will feel drowsy. Monitor the temperature and humidity of the baby's room Get to know the air quality of the baby's room, take actions in time to let the baby sleeps better. Works with Apple Home The product supports remote access and automation making your home smarter. Qingping Air Monitor Lite is compatible with many smart environmental appliances such as air exchanger, air purifier, air conditioner, fan, humidifier and so on. When the temperature, humidity, particle pollution or CO₂ level exceed the target range you set, the appliances would start working automatically. For example, when the humidity is lower than 30%, turn on the humidifier. * Remote access and automation need to set up HomePod or Apple TV as a home hub, and set up with Apple Home app. Measurement Range CO2: 400 ~ 9999 ppm; PM2.5/PM10: 0 ~ 500 μg/m³; Temperature: 32°F ~ 104°F (0°C ~ 40°C); Humidity: 0 ~ 95%RH (under non-condensation environment). Specifications Size: 2.5 × 1.81 × 2.15 inches (6.36 × 4.6 × 5.46 cm) Screen size: 2.36 × 1.96 inches (5.99 × 4.99 cm) Weight: 5.04 oz (143 g) Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Battery: Rechargeable Lithium Battery Battery capacity: 2000mAh Capacity: 2000mAh Power port: USB-C About the Measurement Accuracy of Temperature/Humidity When the device is not fully charged, the heating caused by charging impacts the measurement accuracy of temperature and humidity to some extent. To get accurate readings, the device should be fully charged first, then keep it plugged and place it somewhere windless for 30 minutes. In this case it can eliminate the heating interference from charging. Please kindly note that the temperature and humidity monitored by the product may be inaccurate in a windy environment. Easy Operation Long press the back button to power it on/off, press it for turn on the screen; Tap or slide the touch bar on the top to switch the readings, or set the readings in Qingping+ app; Set the screen saver in Qingping+ app, then it'll start to show time on the screen after the product has been idle for the length of time specified in the "Screen Saver" preferences. Review and Export Historical Data with Qingping+ App Check the readings remotely in Qingping+ app, which can be downloaded on Google Play Store or App Store. The latest 30-day data can be exported from Qingping+ app. If you have added the device in Apple Home app, it will show in Qingping+ app automatically. Rechargeable Battery When using battery power, the device will be shut down without any operation for 10 mins, which can be changed in the Qingping+ app; The product shall be charged by a USB-C charging cable; We did not include a power adaptor inside the package, you could use common ones in your hand to charge for it. Important Notes The product does not support Mi Home when using in the America and Europe now. HomeKit users need a home hub for remote access and automation, such as a HomePod mini/Apple TV. We suggest to use Qingping+ app to upgrade the firmware before you first-time use, and we occasionally release new firmware to fix bugs. Step1: Add the Device to Home App Scan the code pasted on the back of product to add your device to Apple Home App. Once the device is added successfully, you can check data in Apple Home app. For remote access, an Apple home hub is needed. Step2: Set Automation in Home App In Home app, you can set automation based on different levels of CO2 and PM (for CO2, only "Detects High Carbon Dioxide" can be set to trigger automation, which is 2000ppm). You can also set automation based on specific readings of temperature or humidity. Note: An Apple home hub is necessary for automation. Please upgrade your iPhone to iOS 15.1 or newer, and please also upgrade the software of the hub to the latest version.

Review: I like this little thing a lot! EDIT: Lasted a little less than a year, like for a lot of folks. - EDIT 11 months after purchase: About 10 days ago you can see the temps slowly starting to rise. It became warm to the touch, and it seems obvious that the internal fan has failed. I've set a temp offset of -10 degrees to correct the reading, but the warmth worries me and it's not trivial to disassemble and fix according to the teardowns online. A shame - otherwise a very nice little gizmo. It's small, quiet, and seems quite accurate - comparing to Ambient Weather AQIN and Hydrofarm APCEM2 Autopilot, CO2 readings are consistent. Setup was easy (iOS and Apple Home), and it's just a delightful little gizmo, so cute! Small annoyances: No Alexa or Google Home integration (yet, I hope! QingPing, make this thing work with Alexa and it would be perfect!), and "screen saver" display is a little too much motion for something that sits on your desk, it's a little distracting. I've positioned it behind a monitor in a way so that I have to move my head a little to see it. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Review: Very useful for people worried about air quality - Overall, I am pretty happy with this air quality sensor. I cannot speak to how precisely calibrated it is, but it has still been very useful in practice. I have been able to get my room down to zero PM2.5, and having visibility into particulate levels has been reassuring. The CO2 and humidity tracking have been especially helpful. I noticed my clothes were not drying properly, which I probably would have ignored in the past, but the sensor showed humidity around 80 percent, which explained the issue immediately. I was also surprised by how high CO2 levels were getting in my room. I had been focused on air quality but not really thinking about CO2 buildup. With the door closed overnight, I saw CO2 levels climbing close to 2,000 ppm. When my girlfriend is in the room as well, it has gone over 3,000 ppm, which is clearly not ideal. That insight alone has changed my behavior. I now keep the window cracked open two to three inches instead of just a tiny gap, even when it is cold, and it has made a noticeable difference. My only real complaint is charging reliability. Occasionally it seems like it is not charging and will turn off. Unplugging and plugging it back in usually fixes the issue, and it does show that it is charging afterward. I am hoping this is just a minor quirk or user error, but it is something to be aware of. Despite that, this sensor has been very helpful in understanding my indoor environment and making practical changes to improve air quality and ventilation.

## Features

- 【A 5-in-1 Multifunction Air Monitor】Qingping Air Monitor Lite tests 5 major factors of the indoor air quality: PM2.5 (the result of secondhand smoke), PM10, CO2, temperature and humidity. By knowing the real-time air quality, you can turn on the air purifier or open the window when needed.
- 【High Accuracy and Fast Responding】Inside the air monitor, there are reliable, fast responding and stable sensors from top level sensor manufacturers. The 5 readings refresh ever second. The air inlet grille design at the back enables sufficient contact between the sensors and the air. The product is NOT waterproof/dustproof, please do not place this product in environment with humidity higher than 90% for long term use.
- 【Works with Apple HomeKit and Qingping+ app】As this is a Wi-Fi device (2.4GHz Wi-Fi ONLY), you can check data remotely/export historical data on Qingping+ app (available on App Store/Google Play). For Apple Home app users, check the 5 metrics remotely or set automation with an Apple home hub; for automation on temperature/humidity, the iPhone needs to be upgraded to iOS 15.1 or later, and the hub should be upgraded to the latest version.
- 【Clear OLED Display and Sensitive Touch Bar】Pixel style UI design shows on a clear OLED screen, enables bigger visible angle and more fun. Through the multi-colored indicator, you will know the air quality, the temperature and the humidity level of your room, with a glance from a distance. You may tap or slide the touch bar on the top to switch the readings as smoothly as to operate a touch screen.

There is a USB-C cable supplied. IMPORTANT: When running on battery, the default setting is to turn off the product automatically after a few minutes, you can change settings in Qingping+ app to let it stay on without power supply if needed. If you have any questions, welcome to contact our customer service team, we will be happy to answer them.

### ⭐ Chinese spy device at your home
*by U***R on February 13, 2022*

Even though the device looks nice and has nice screen, but readings are not accurate. Temperature readings are not accurate at all, and I wonder if other readings are way off too. You cannot change device settings (screen saver, C/F, etc) unless you connect the device to your Wi-Fi network (potentially providing manufacturer your Wi-Fi credentials), you need to download their app, and create an account!!! Also device constantly sends some data to Chinese servers, and if you disconnect the device from the network and remove it from the app - all settings will be restored to default settings. So they basically are forcing you to have an account and keep device connected to the network, so they can harvest your data (and who knows what exactly they are harvesting??) and send it to China.
