I really like this suturing kit, it's better than more expensive ones, the online videos are great, pad hold up well for most suturing. I am impressed.This is not a paid review. I just tried many different suturing kits and I'm happy to have found a decent one which doesn't cost a lot.

The set arrived in the full configuration, which is indicated in the description, the next day after the order. In my opinion, the quality is excellent, the silicone is strong and very well conveys the properties of human skin. I was especially pleased with the presence of a separate device for studying knots on a thick thread, I finally learned how to knit a laparoscopic Roader's knot ;)

I tried a different brand first and the suture pad was shockingly poor quality. This pad is superb, I have not had any rips/tears so far.

A good set but the tools are really poor quality. The suture needles are poor quality and they bend easily.You will need to purchase some better needles but at this price you’d expect that the tools and the needles were of a better quality. Good to have as a practice set though.

Exactly what I was looking for

The knot tying module had one of the suction cups shaped defectively such that it was unable to be placed on a desk or other surface and used to keep it in place so the knot tying module is essentially unusable. The other suction cup works better though it is slightly misshapen as well. The defective cup does not have round edges all around.

I actually bought this for my daughter for her 12th birthday. We finally got a chance to sit down and watch the videos and practice. I’m so amazed at how realistic the practice skin is and the quality of the materials and items. It’s absolutely useful for med students. And with supervision, a great, learning tool for younger people interested in medicine. The teacher in the videos is very good. He’s very clear, easy to follow and understand. The photo is all her work.

I am a nurse practitioner and often preceptor students. I purchased this kit so I can see the suturing skills of my students before I allow them to suture a human. The kit is small and easy to store on my bookshelf in my office, contains all the tools needed to practice suturing, and comes with access to online videos so I can practice some fancier suturing I do not often get a chance to do in the office. Overall this is a very well developed product that I would recommend to students and preceptors alike. Much more sanitary than practicing on chicken thighs or pigs feet!

I am a Vet Assistant and will be begining classes in the fall. I ordered this suture practice kit so I can learn how to do the stitches our vets use at work. I am a hands on learner and while I may not be the one stitching patients any time soon, this product is not only familiarizing me with identifying each stitch, it is helping me learn to do them myself so that one day, I can help my vet if needed and eventually do them myself when I become the Vet.
