Great Product! Gamer Approved!
The 1000 Magic: The Gathering Card Lot is a decent bulk purchase for players looking to expand their collection quickly. It includes rares and foils, which is a nice touch, but as expected with bulk lots, the selection can be hit or miss. The card variety is decent, though there are some duplicates. If you're looking for playable commons and uncommons or just want to bulk up your collection, this is a solid option. However, if you're after high-value rares or competitive staples, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, a fun and affordable way to add cards to your MTG collection. This was Nice as a collection starter and I've enjoyed having it. I've been able to build various 60 card Decks as well as a starter for a Commander Deck from this lot and I've only expanded since ordering!

NOT A SINGLE LAND, tons of duplicates
First the good... the box came quickly. Thank you for that. There was a similar number of color cards, though very few artifact or multi color cards. The bad: My biggest problem is there is not a single land in th entire box! Not any color, not in non color, nothing. The description said three would be non basic land but there was no land at all! You CAN NOT build a magic desk without land! That makes this box completely useless. I was lucky, someone I know was able to give me basic land to make my deck with. If it were nit for that I would not be able to play the game using this box!Second issue I the amount of duplicates. Some are fine, I would say 4 or even sometimes 5 would be ok.... but almost every card had duplicates sometimes as many as 10.I was building a red and blue commander deck uing these cards. I had also purchased separately a 15 card red creatures booster pack and a 15 card blur creature booster pack. Thank God I did because after going through this box I was struggling to get enough cards to build th deck because in commander you can only have one of each card. That I how bad th dupes are... using 2 colors I couldn't come up with 99 unique cards. That is simply shameful. I hope the seller reads this review and fixes his boxes so he doesn't screw over another customer this badly

Perfect for sharpie cube! Or very basic starter decks to tech new players
To start if you are wanting to get a box of 1000 different cards to get back into magic or build a deck to play at Friday night magic this is not for you. This is random bulk box. Tons of duplicate cards 4+ of each or just random chaff. That’s what you are buying. None of these cards are worth anything. Tons of vanilla creatures and cards that will never see play. However it is loads of fun to go through the box. Old sets, new sets, random funky cards you would never see outside of one of these random bulk boxes. Plus a lot of the cards are commons that have good upside and bad downside so it’s perfect for sharpie cube which I highly recommend. It’s a blast!

Adventure Awaits
I would love to write a review for this.Upfront tl;dr,Out of 1k cards, roughly 190 weren't duplicates and the duplicates were insane. Like, I have 197 "Adventure Awaits" cards. But that's why it's two stars and not one.Narrative.I'm getting back into The Habit after around 20 years. Sold my collection for music fest party favors that lasted around a decade. Husband of a friend my wife is friends with is into it, also played since roughly Beta. And my wife is into it.So I was like, "eff it, let's get some bulk."At this price, I knew what I was buying. I assumed it'd be profoundly picked through and there'd be some dupes. All together, it's like 190-200 individual cards and the other 800 is dupes. And it would have been cool if it were like, 5 duplicates of each card. No, I'm the proud owner of over 150 "Adventure Awaits" cards. I wouldn't have left a review like this if it were five of each.I would have expected that. The reason this review is a 2 and not a 1? Four cards and their duplicates made up over 500 cards in the box.So, I've made a game out of it leaving them in weird places like Chick Tracts. I'm really good at it. Buckees bathrooms. A staggering number of locations at the Biltmore Estate. Disney. Universal. Several federal courthouses in the SE. Restaurants, you name it: I travel a lot and I'm good at hiding things with the intention of them being found.I'm constantly walking around with a deck of like 400 cards and it's five cards and their dupes.I find a remarkable entertainment value in that. However, if you buy this please keep in mind you may end up with 100-200 copies of the Adventure Awaits card and you'll have to make your own game up to quell your bitterness. Thanks for coming to my TEDTalk. If you find an errant MTG card in a weird place, I probably left it there.

Absurd duplicates, but still a somewhat decent variety of different cards after that.
To start off, I’m pretty new to Magic. I wanted a decent collection of cards, and thought this was a good idea. For the most part, it wasn’t terrible. The duplicates is a bit too much especially when I got 77 of the same card. Out of 1000 though, 8 cards had a total of 282 outrageous duplicates. I’ll leave pictures of the stacks and numbers of the duplicates. I’m cool with getting like 5-10 duplicates of one card, but not 77 of a single card. I got somewhat lucky though that the rest weren’t absurd amounts of duplicates though.

Ya get what it says.
Overall what was advertised was what was received. Not bad at all. 99% of cards were in very good condition. A couple has bad wear but we're all just bland commons. A fair amount of uncommons. I saw 4 rares I believe. A handful of foils. Neat, was two cards in other languages. A few major duplicates but maybe 4 or 5 cards had like 10 or more dupes but nothing crazy. The sets were a little bit of all over the place. Probably about 100 maybe 150 cards pre 2005. The rest were mostly 2016 and forward.A little disappointed with the variety of colours. A third of the box was blue. A third was white and the other third was red black and like 10 greens. 1 artifact, a common foil, and two gold cards.Overall for the price I can't complain worth it.
