Pure Brilliance!
What an amazing series this is! I just adore these brothers!I was looking forward to Con. I've recently re-read the first 2 books to refresh my memory and i'm glad i did. I loved those too!Con is the less serious one of them all but i'm glad his story wasn't light. He deserved respect if that makes sense? He's so deep and kind of sensitive. As his story unfolded i fell for him hard! They're all good men but Con is so much more. He takes on everyones pain. He tries to fix everything. But in doing so he neglected himself. He also underestimated how much his family loved him. He appeared strong but goodness he was so hurt under the facade he made me cry!Poor sweet Micah. He also broke my heart. So beaten down by life but so incredibly good still even though he had every right to be angry. Don't get me wrong he was angry at first and took it out on Con but once he looked past the hurts of the past he saw Con. He really saw him and knew he could trust this connection they had.It was such a battle for them to get their happily ever afters. Not so much physically but mentally. The scars they carried were deep but together ypu really felt them start to mend. Their love warmed me from the inside out. It literally took my breath away. Theirs is a slow burn kind of romance because although they did stuff it wasn't really about the physical it was their connection that burned bright!I floved the ending. It was utter perfection and made the battle deliciously worth it.With Sloane's books you know its going to be a tortured, hard fought road our hero's have to travel but its always worth it. Gripped from start to finish i found it unputdownable! Just pure brilliance. The teaser for King is a killer!! Gah D.E.A.D!! I need it soooo bad!! I can't wait! It's going to be an amazing end to the series i just hope somewhere along the way in the future Christopher gets some book loving too!100% Recommend!

Absolutely Brilliant!
Oh how I have missed Sloane Kennedy but she is back with a bang! This book is absolutely brilliant and from the very first page until the last I was taken through so many emotions I was drained!I started off teary and then cried ugly tears, this author never lets you off lightly, her characters are not just flawed but completely broken and then she puts them back together bit by bit but always leaving one or two small pieces out.Con was a successful MMA fighter a big beautiful tough guy, on the outside, inside he was still an emotionally scarred 12 year old carrying around secrets that he hasn’t even shared with his beloved brothers, he also has a heart of gold. A fight he had 15 years earlier still haunts him every day and he will never forget three little words … please help him …Micah had never had an easy life but at aged 8 it became much worse and Con featured in his heartbreak and to cope with the devastation he directed all his hatred onto Con. He dedicated his whole life to bringing up and trying to protect his nephew and niece from the deprivation and chaos that was their life. Two badly broken men who had never been in a relationship before, didn’t know what love felt like, trying to navigate around feelings they had never experienced before plus there was the enormous elephant in the room that both had to come to terms with, it was never going to be easy!I loved the surprise character towards the end of the book, he has always been a favourite of mine and the glimpse into King’s life at the end, WOW now I really cannot wait for his book on 1st September!Cannot recommend this book enough

Brilliant
I am NOT surprised that I devoured this book. I have loved every story Ive read by Sloane Kennedy. I do admit that whilst very story does have some form of abuse to the characters, verbal, physical, sexual, the way each book and characters story is written makes us all invested in the story ending the way we want. This Was no different, yes, Con and Micah both have a history and plenty of baggage. But Con always believed he made Micahs life worse. He needed to step back for his own sake, and not delve to deeply into a strangers life. Though he never forgot him. They make a perfect couple and Micah, hes the other half of Cons great big sweet heart. Even after hearing Cons full story, it makes him realise that Con was made for him.Neither man has had an easy life, however, together and with the help of Cons brothers, they will make sure Christopher and Rory has a perfect childhood now.The last little bit, was a twist I didnt see coming.... but I desperately NEED Kings book..... Like NOW

Loved it
Well, Sloane Kennedy has once again knocked it out of the park. It’s no secret that she is one of my favourite authors (I will drop whatever I am reading when a new book comes out) and this book was awesome. I loved Con and Micah broke my heart; there was no sickly sweet little girl over-the-topness that some authors use when writing children caught in the middle of a new relationship so thank you for that. All the books I read by this author seem to have distinctive characters - this could be because they are not churned out too quickly as some authors are wont to do and that probably also explains why I did not notice any errors whilst reading this (I do tend to look out for them a bit obsessively). I highly recommend yet another winner, my only slight niggle was the bad guy scenario was slightly contrived but all is forgiven!
