Whilst anyone could probably fit these with a pair of scissors, to get a nice tight fit and have it look presentable does require some DIY skills and patience.For example I would recommend using a cutting mat, a steel rule and a rotary cutter to get nice clean edges, or at the very least a straight edge, something you can cut on and a sharp Stanley knife.Also placement of the magnetic strips on the windows and placements of the magnets in the mesh is pretty critical. Get it wrong and it will look messy.Also I recommend using it over smaller opening windows than large ones as its easier to keep taught.Just an update after having these fitted for almost a week now. I'm very allergic to grass pollen and these genuinely seem to work. I've even managed to stop taking hayfever tablets whilst working at home with these on the windows.

Best window screen I’ve ever tried. It’s worked really well to keep insects and most importantly pollen out of the room.Installation was fairly straight forward, but I did have some issues attaching the magnets to the screen itself.It’s much neater than the “traditional” adhesive Velcro that usually comes in these kits which tends to fall off within a couple of weeks.Due to the way my window opens, I was unable to apply exactly as the instructions and images showed, but it still worked really well.The only other thing I can suggest is that the manufacturer/seller either provides extra magnets in the package or has them available for sale separately as I have plenty of screen left, but no magnets and also I feel like I could make the one I’ve currently got in place a bit more secure.

Really difficult to make the holes to put the joining magnet in. The magnets kept coming away- not overly strong . Definitely a 2 person job to try and attach the netting

Per essere una zanzariera, fa il suo lavoro. Il problema è che viene fornita con - poche - calamite di scarsa qualità (ne ho dovute aggiungere altre per farla aderire un po' meglio).Poi per me è risultata anche leggermente corta in altezza... Ma qui magari son stato io a calcolare male le misure. Ho risolto mettendo del nastro isolante.Però, ad esser sinceri, non la ricomprerei.
