This fish food is great. It has a shaker on the top which makes it easy to add just the right amount of food to your tank. The food also does float on the top of the water not just sinking slowly to the bottom. I love that giving all of my fish time to eat without it just going straight to the bottom and creating waste. The bottle is big making it worth the money. Also all my fish likes the taste because they ate every bit of the food that was floating on top of the water. I will be buying again.

My fish absolutely love this food! Including my Pygmy Cory. It’s the perfect size for their tiny mouths so I usually give them a pinch down at the bottom of the tank along with their usual food. I like how small it is too due to it doesn’t dirty the water as much and it helps me gage how mush I’m feeding I appreciate that the bottle is filled completely! The food also isn’t filled with filler ingredients either which is something I really looked for. This little $9 bottle can definitely last me a long time so it’s so worth the money.

My freshwater fish seemed to love it. I like how some of it stays up top and other starts sinking after a couple seconds. Only bad thing is you need your magnifying glass and your glasses to read the fine print.

This pellet and the slightly larger sinking pellet are both the same smell and I assume ingredients, this tiny pellet is drier so they do not clump together, and it comes out just like a salt shaker. It is the perfect size for the tetras tiny mouth and floats for a few seconds for the top feeders before flying all over the tank to cause a feeding frenzy. It does float in the current for a while which I appreciate as the frenzy lasts longer than with other pellets. The smell is very attractive to small fish species and even my neon tetras became domesticated after 3 months of use. It’s easy to get a live bearer to eat out of your hand and trust you, but to get a school of tetras to come and eat out of your hand is unheard of. They like this stuff so much that when I use the larger sinking pellet version in my hand they will come peck at me for a meal. When I sprinkle this smaller pellet in the tank like a salt shaker everyone goes crazy and the tank comes to life. It has made my tank more lively and my tetras have more personality- even amongst themselves. It is expensive- and I bought it the first time just to see if they prefer a smaller pellet, but I’m honestly stuck with this product forever. It’s the best fish food I’ve tried in 9 years of owning fish, 5 of those years as a serious aquascaper. I’m glad I found this product.

I was looking for a new type of fish food in addition to tropical flakes and bottom feeder pellets. My tetra fish likes these tiny pellets. The other fish I have are eating this new food as well. I have a few catfish and one plecostomus. The food appears FRESH, containing various ingredients. The container version works conveniently - easy to sprinkle food in the tank without touching food with your fingers.

If/when you compare the actual ingredients of competing brands, you'll only find one, maybe two, others that have such high quality ingredients and the absence of unhealthy fillers. This is a quality ingredient food. UPDATE!!!! I reduced this from a 5-star to a 3-star for one reason only. The reason is, this stuff is SO small it's amost like a powder, not a granule. It's SO tiny that even my small fish are too large for this food. Also, it is labeled as slow sinking, however, well over half of it sinks right away.

Sounds great quality and a nice size for my various tetras, gourami and rams. Doesn't last long at feeding time! Comes out like a salt shaker so easy to dispense.

Fish love it. Food floats if you want it to sink take a pinch and place your fingers on the water.
